Tigers need to get it back, quickly.

The A's have scored first in all 3 games now. So far that hasn't hurt Detroit. We'll see how it goes tonight.

You're quoting yourself...you're beginning to sound like me. Just don't start referring to yourself in 3rd person. ;)

Thanks to a UMP that doesn't want to call the same for both teams ....
It's no wonder they get to drive pitchers pitch count up.

They NEVER have the LATE game (9:30), even when they play on the West Coast they play at 8.
It stinks that they get that preferential treatment, unless your team is the one playing them.

I agree, same here, but I'll try to get a nap in before so I can stay up a bit longer.

Since they start at 9:10 PM tonight's game could end at 1:00 AM given 3:50 to play the game (not unlikely in a playoff game).

I dont think they have much choice, unless you start the first game earlier. I dont think they would ever have a game on TBS and the other on TNT. I dont think they would want to split the audience even though FOX had to do that a couple of times. I remember the ALCS being on FOX and the NLCS being on FX. That was Yankees/Red Sox so that was on FOX in my area. The NLCS was Cards/Astros and if I lived in St. Louis or Houston, that game would have been on FOX and the ALCS would have been on FX.
I've been watching. VERY good game!!

What a performance by Homer Bailey! Marshall now pitching for the Reds.

First the no hitter for Bailey and now this. I think the Reds could get far with there pitching and I dont think we have seen Johnny Cueto yet.

Okay, just one run. Sanchez seemed to settled down after the first few batters - nerves, I'm sure (hope). Okay, how about Prince starting things off by parking one in the cheap seats. :)

If Im Detroit, I'm totally relaxed. So if Oakland scores a run, it wouldnt bother me because I know Im leading the series 2-0. Oakland has all the pressure on them. Even if Oakland beats up on the Tigers in the 2nd or 3rd inning, I know that I have the lead. I would worry if I lose games 3 and 4, then its something to worry about.

Good points Mets :)

I meant late as in evening game, not necessarily the latest game.

The Tigers are hitting it hard tonight but right at people. You have to think they will find some gaps eventually.

Looks like Anderson is done, maybe....

Tigers hitters have been pathetic against Anderson, continuing to swing at the garbage he throws in the dirt and under the strike zone.

Like I said earlier, they needed to quit swinging at it and make him move it up into the zone.

Hopefully he's done and we can get the bullpen.
Tigers only have 2 hits tonight, but I'm feeling a Blast from Prince sometime tonight, hopefully someone will be on base at the time.
Cabrera has looked lost, a new pitcher might be just what we need !
