Hopper setup nightmare

Dish techs did not make scheduled appointment for two days.
First time slot they showed two hours after scheduled window.
No phone call.

Rescheduled to following day. Same thing except they finally showed up 3 hours after
time slot. Suppose to be at home between 8-12. Showed up at 3pm.
Still no phone call. Yes, I called dish. Each time I was told they were in route.

Tech left my home at 10 pm.
I have 2 hopper and two joeys. He could not get Joeys to work.

Day three- thats today. Lets see what happens.
Ive noticed that the hoppers rebooted a couple of times at night.
The bugs begin!

Im so glad I work from home.

I get the impression that dish rolled this out to soon.
The dish techs in my area are struggling with this.

Last night there was a software update, so it was supposed to reboot (up to two times) as it installed the new software. That one is not a bug.

It may be a lil soon for the hopper but techs who are installing dont need to install till they have had some training and istalled at their home office and played with beta hopper!! This is a tech issue!!

Sounds right. The area manager called me this morning to apologize for the
scheduling mishaps.

He told me they are struggling with the two hopper set up.
Its not communicating with the joeys.

Love the size of these Joeys..Real small!
I wonder if they run hot??

Do these units reboot every night?
The area manager said to me that they do.
Strange, I don't remember my 922/722k doing that?

So far I think the Hopper system has been pretty solid. The training has not been very solid. Dish has some great intall videos but they just seemed to get the info out too late.
