Hopper 382

The Hopper Plus goes to the last channel and does not go to the Home Screen except with H372 where it goes to Dishscapes on channel(s) 101 or 9998 but that had been fixed so it goes to the last channel.

Not sure I understand these questions in this thread, but I have a Hopper3 without Plus (but with the Android interface), and numerous Joey 4's which all have the Android interface. When I turn on the TV they do load up the "home" screen with tiles, but the last channel viewed is playing in the background. I just have to hit Back or Cancel to get to whatever was on when the TV was turned off the last time.

Also, the setting is still there for Recall to go to Last Channel, or Last Channel plus 6 previous but I'm not sure if that's what you are talking about here ....

The Hopper 3 without Plus does not use the Android interface. Hopper 3 runs a scaled down version of Linux which is also what Android is based on. Joey 4's do run on Android. And I was saying the problem was fixed in newer versions of Hopper 3 software so it does go to the last channel watched but we as in charlesrshell and myself are talking about the Hopper 3 with the Hopper Plus which does not have the

Settings, Power does not have the Power On setting to choose Show Home Screen, Tune to Smart Channel or Tune To Last Channel compared to the Hopper 3 without the Plus as seen below:

Okay I misunderstood - I thought you were talking about the H3 in general. As I stated, my Hopper 3 does not have a Plus box attached. I have been running this H3 with (3) other Joey 4's since around April.
Below are screenshots showing the H3 SW version (H383), the Home screen (it may be Linux based but it matches the Joey 4's closely), and the setting for Tune to Last Channel (sorry about the glare on the screen!).

I'm not sure about the Hopper/Plus combination .....

sklunk - The first reply from the post you quoted does start with Hopper Plus which meant when the H3 with the Plus would not have that setting but the H3 without the Plus did. Android is a flavor of Linux as Linux so the GUI is what you are referring to which can really be designed however one wants it to look. The Plus actually removes many features and settings options compared to just the H3 alone.
