Well....think of it this way, maybe IF the NFL treated the college ranks with a little more respect for the game of football instead of their own little nest egg of recruits that make the NFL rich...who knows, maybe the NFL partners up in fixing some of the dirtiness that is college football...

NNNNAAAHHHHHHHH......LMAO....that might make TOO MUCH sense.;):D

On the tube tonight: Philadelphia at Pittsburgh-8:00pm ET on FOX.

I'll be watching Pats-Bucs, but will sneak a peak at Eagles-Steelers in between my Sox and Pats viewing.

Patriots looking really good. Buccaneers looking awful against a team that's playing against them rather than a team treating the game like a practice.

Yeah, the Pats put a first half beatdown on the Bucs, to the tune of 28-0 at the half.

Brady two TD passes (including one to Ochocinco), and Law Firm with two TD runs. Josh Freeman was lucky to get out of the first half in one piece!

And this is coming a week after Tampa had been on the other side of a beating (25-0 over Kansas City).

And one week after the Pats routed the Jags 47-12 (without most of their starters).

The Bucs just got a 70 yard pick six off rookie Ryan Mallet......its now 28-7 Pats

After it was 21-0, I was thinking they are better than last year and it looks like they got an attitude. I think Brady and Belichick realize it should of been them in the superbowl and they blew it just like 2006.

The 2006 ending is still the hardest to take, IMO. That's saying something, considering they were going for history in '07, and were on an incredible roll before being humbled by their hated division rival last season.

My personal list of tough losses in the Brady/Belichick era:

1. 2006 AFCCG vs. Colts- a 21-3 lead late in the first half, with the oppurtunity to kick the Bears butt in the SB on the horizon left me heartbroken for weeks! :(

2. 2007 SB vs. Giants- going for the undefeated season, you would think this would be my #1, but the Colts loss stings me more for some reason.

3. 2010 AFC Divisional vs. Jets- this hurt because the Pats were steamrolling opponents....few saw this coming

4. 2005 AFC Divisional vs. Broncos- Pats were pretty banged up trying to become the first threepeat SB Champs in NFL history, but if they beat the Broncos they would have hosted the Steelers in the AFCCG (I personally don't think this Pats team would have beat that Steelers team, but who knows?)

5. 2009 AFC Wildcard vs. Ravens- Meh, this Pats team was going no where anyway

"Tuck rule" game will burn me till the day I die... :-(

It seems as if half of New England's games this season are big-time clashes tailor made for the fall- they are facing a ton of marquee/glamour teams, and Ochocinco adds a bit of spice.:eek:

The 2011 Patriots look like must-see TV.
