Getting ready to watch some Monday night countdown, reminded how much chris berman bugs me

I'm ready for some football..........GO PATS!!! :)

Two rookies I'm intrigued by tonight: QB- Ryan Mallet (and his cannon arm), and RB- Stevan Ridley

Pats up, 7-6 despite fumbling three times in their first two drives (losing one of them).

Ridley scored the TD and has looked very impressive so far...

This new kickoff rule stinks. They should just do away the kickoff and give it to them on the 20 now. There won't be any kickoff returns this year.

Halftime: Pats 19, Jags 9

Damn, Brian Hoyer looks good! I can think of some teams that he could be the starting QB!

i agree 100%! Don't like this at all.

That's just Lombardi stirring up the pot.

I have seen nothing from the new coaching staff and John Elway showing me that they have as much confidence as last year's coaches did. I am willing to bet that IF the current staff as well as Elway were in place last year, Tebow would not have been drafted in the 1st round.

Thats a pretty SAFE bet...

Where is Josh McDanials now ?
This is where I would look for Tebow to end up if they eventually trade him.

With Tim Tebow there is no middle ground, you either love him or you hate him. I know there are people who want Tim Tebow to go down in flames like Matt Leinart & Ryan Leaf, but he doesn't have the personality that they have/had. He's not out chasing Hollywood/Reality TV stars(like Leinart did) & he is notout blaming everybody but himself for on field shortcomings. Who made the rule that a QB drafted in the 1st round has to start "immediately?" I still say that John Elway wants ALL of his present QB's to fail this season. that way either he gets the first draft choice outright,or he'll mortgage the present AND the future of the team in order to get the draft rights to Andrew Luck. It is no secret that that's who he(John Elway) wants as his QB.

Lots of possibilities .... IF Elway and company really feel like you've stated, he could TRADE Tebow and whatever for the 1st pick in next years draft.

I'm watching the "Poor Man's Redzone" channel right now,AKA the NFL Network's Around the League. It's good to see that the Arizona Cardinals have a QB again(basing that opinion on the catch Larry Fitzgerald just made).

Hoyer >> Kolb

Hopefully we can get someone as desperate as Arizona to pony up this offseason.
