With all of the complaints about the kick-off being moved [back] from the 30 yard line to the 35 yard line,I remember when the kick-off was on the 40 yard line & they moved it to the 35 yard line originally because the kickers kept kicking the ball out of the end zone for touchbacks. Of course,I also remember when the goalposts were in the front of the endzone(like in the CFL) instead of the back of the endzone.
A move like this is another reason why the Bills have been bad for so long.
As far as a AFC North fan, I'm now pooing my pants in having to face Anquan Boldin and Lee Evans twice a year!! Ugh!
The Lions creamed the Bengals 34-3.

Bengals looked, not ready to play and dis interested.
Man, your older than dirt !
That said, I remember both of them as well ...
Well,I CAN say that playing with leather helmets & no face masks was before my time.
I agree, and Hoyer may become expendable with the addition of Ryan Mallet. The Pats depth is extraordinary on both sides of the ball, but especially at WR. With Welker/Ochocinco/Branch/Edelman/Tate/Price/Slater, they go seven deep. Obviously they won't keep 7, but will they keep 6? IMO, Slater and Tate are probably out of here.
The Cleveland Browns (27) scored more points than the Steelers (7), Ravens (6) and Bengals (3) combined!
For those keeping score at home, that's Cleveland 27, AFC North 16. WOW!!!!!!!!! Looks like Colty McCoy is picking up this new West Coast offense just fine!!!
Really? the 1st game of preseason.....?! And unless the Browns scored ALL 27 points in the 1st 2 offensive series, Colt had very little to do with it. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
My boy played the entire first quarter against a Super Bowl defense and led the team to two Touchdown drives. So, even if you want to discount the rest of the game, we STILL outscored the rest of the AFC North!!!
