The Cleveland Browns (27) scored more points than the Steelers (7), Ravens (6) and Bengals (3) combined!

For those keeping score at home, that's Cleveland 27, AFC North 16. WOW!!!!!!!!! Looks like Colty McCoy is picking up this new West Coast offense just fine!!!

When that Clowns team outscores the AFC north in the first month of the regular season than you will have a reason to cheer but that was the first game of the preseason, no OTAs and no workouts during the summer.

If that is the best thing your team can do given the history of your team than I guess I can understand why you are excited about a preseason game that means nothing in the standings.

There's two types of people in the world.

A) Glass half full types who look at life in a positive light and cherish each momentous occasion, no matter how insignificant, as a joyous thing.

B) Glass half empty types who are negative and condescending. They thrive on putting others down and love to belittle their accomplishments to make themselves feel better.

I'm glad I'm a Type A person! To me, it just seems like a more healthy way to go throughout life!! Yah Browns!!! SUPER-Freaking-BOWL!!!!!!!!! ;) :)

Don't forget Type C...the really cute girl near the beach who will assault her own teams worse than anyone can possibly imagine...because she's rather expect the worst and then be pleasantly surprised rather than the opposite...but who calls it like she sees it when it comes to anything not related to her team.

Right you put down anything that has to deal with anything Pittsburgh.

When I get on the PC I'll post some of your quotes if you don't believe me.

Type A lacks perspective and reasonable skepticism/optimism.

McCoy's TD was against Packers backup CB Pat Lee.

Rodgers' TD was against starting CB Sheldon Brown

...and then that was all the scoring of the first quarter.

McCoy looked sharp, there's no debating, but the boasting of success over division rivals... yeah don't be surprised when that comes back to haunt you in the regular season when teams are trying to win.

I could say the same thing about the Lions. Take a look at this
Lions: 34
Packers:17
Bears: 10
Vikings: 3
Total: Lions: 34, NFC North: 30
The Lions are facing the Browns on Friday so we'll see who's really that good.

Wonder if Suh will try and break McCoy in half. If a Steeler did what Suh did last week it would be the lead story on every Sportscenter.

He's a Lion though, so nobody really noticed.

Yeah, and since they're facing the Browns, nobody would notice what Suh would do in this game either. Maybe when the Lions face the Patriots on the 27th, Suh will get more attention.

Speaking of the Browns, they have a schedule that's very winnable:

the weak NFC West (Browns won 10 games last time they played that division), an AFC South not as strong as it was a few years ago, and two games with a Bengal team that's become a dumpster fire.

The Bears kicked off from the 30 yard line twice this weekend. Apparently they believe the 35 yard line is not a rule...merely a suggestion.

Thats funny !

I suppose they could kick off from anywhere they wanted as long as they are not past the 35 and lined up correctly !
