So let's see -

DET @ OAK - Important game for both teams, who has the will to win it?
OAK @ KC - KC always tough in December at home, but Oakland should take this game.
SD @ OAK - Philip Rivers would love to play the spoiler, if this is a meaningful game.

NE @ DEN - Can Denver exploit NE's defense? Can Broncos D handle Brady and crew??
DEN @ BUF - Buffalo on the downside, but at home in December. A concern.
KC @ DEN - The return of Orton to Denver? KC depleted with injuries, should be a win, but they would love to be a spoiler too.

I dont know about the Raiders, Salsa. They have somewhat a tough schedule. The Lions, if they show up to play, can beat the Raiders. I do think they beat the Cheifs, who is in turmoil, but I dont know about the Chargers. They always play tough in Dec. I do see Denver winning 2 out of the last 3 games.

I think the two teams that could put the fear of God in ANY team in the playoffs are the two New York teams.

For NYJ and NYG, just getting there may be half the problem. When they face each other on Christmas Eve in the Meadowlands that game will be HUGE!!

Bill, not to sound like a Giants shill, but look at the Giants. They almost beat the 49ers and the Packers and beat the Cowboys. I think there defense has to play a little better but how cool is Eli Manning in the 4th quarter?

So last night my mom calls at around 7PM...here's how the conversation goes...

Me: Hi Mom

Mom: Hi sweetie how are you guys doing?

Me: Is everything OK Mom?

Mom: Yes everything's fine...just calling to say hello.

Me: DURING TEBOW TIME???

Mom: What?

Me: Difficult to explain, Mom...I'll call ya back after Tebow pulls the game out.

Sandra

Very nice Sandra.

Steve Spagnuolo is rumoured to be fired after tonights game or after end of season and rams going after jeff fisher :) fire spags he has done nothing since joining the rams :)

I guess Spagnuolo gets fired. Maybe he'll go back to the Giants as the defensive coordinator. I'd love that. Interesting that Spags hasnt done anything with the defense considering he has Laurantitis and Chris Long.

Btw, how about my Giants last night? Eli Manning = cool as a cucumber. Great win by them. How many qb's do you see do what Eli did last night?

The Cowboys have three losses this year when leading by 12 or more in the fourth quarter. They had two in the first 50 years of the organization.

The Bears defense was stellar. The Broncos would have never gotten the ball back if it were for the biggest brain fart in Bears history commited by Marion Barber. Then, to SEAL his goatness, he fumbles.

He didn't just fumble, the Denver DEFENSE knocked that ball out of his hands. THEY created that opportunity.

No offense to Peyton, who is one of the greatest to play the game, but Eli just may be a better clutch QB than his big bro.

This is why I give the majority of the credit to the Denver defense. Not saying tebow shouldn't get any credit. Just saying most should go to the defense.

I dunno Bill...I'm an Eli fan, and he is without question having a phenomenal season. With Eli, however, there are always buts...the man is a walking dichotomy.

When it comes to clutch quarterbacking, it needs to be mentioned that this is Eli's NINTH season, and he's only won a playoff game ONE YEAR...the year, of course, they won the Super Bowl. And Eli was amazing that year.

But aside from that year, there has been a lot of emptiness...as much as he was given credit for that Super Bowl season (and he deserved every bit of that credit), he has also been blamed for some pretty poor playoff performances, and some pretty bad second half collapses that caused them to miss the playoffs.

That's an awful lot of clutchness opportunities that weren't so clutch.

Let's also remember Eli is fresh off a 25 INT season as well.

So while New England fans personally witnessed Eli clutchness four years ago, and also a few weeks ago up in Foxboro, that has been the exception rather than the norm.

Eli is playing great right now, and he may in the process of adding to his clutchness legacy...time will tell...but Peyton's body of work speaks for itself.

Just heard on WFAN with Mike Franseca that the NFL Network is reporting Tony Sparano is out as Dolphins coach.
