Going out of bounds to stop the clock and when Denver had no time outs was NOT CREATED BY DENVER.

No where in my post did I mention that, did I? I was talking ONLY about the fumble, wasn't I?

If you know the out of bounds play though, the Broncos chased him to the sidelines. All he had to do was fall down, but he just kept running........instinct?????

I dunno Bill...I'm an Eli fan, and he is without question having a phenomal season. With Eli, however, there are always buts...the man is a walking dichotomy.

When it comes to clutch quarterbacking, it needs to be mentioned that this is Eli's NINTH season, and he's only won a playoff game ONE YEAR...the year, of course, they won the Super Bowl. And Eli was amazing that year.

But aside from that year, there has been a lot of emptiness...as much as he was given credit for that Super Bowl season (and he deserved every bit of that credit), he has also been blamed for some pretty poor playoff performances, and some pretty bad second half collapses that caused them to miss the playoffs.

That's an awful lot of clutchness opportunities that weren't so clutch.

Let's also remember Eli is fresh off a 25 INT season as well.

So while New England fans personally witnessed Eli clutchness four years ago, and also a few weeks ago up in Foxboro, that has been the exception rather than the norm.

Eli is playing great right now, and he may in the process of adding to his clutchness legacy...time will tell...but Peyton's body of work speaks for itself.

In no way, shape or form am I arguing who the better QB has been. I would be a fool to do that, but there is a "but" in there, IMO.

Peyton has won a lot of 42-10 type games where he has put up mind numbing stats. Eli, OTOH, can't sniff those stats, but he's won 20-17 type games by engineering last minute drives.

I guess I have this perception of Eli stepping it up when it matters most.

We'll welcome Miami's new coach with a cold embrace.FEAR THE BILLS, NEW GUY!

We're pretty screwed with jp at qb and more injuries but I wont make excuses for all the losing. Honestly I have no idea who will win that game lol

Can't blame you buddy but Peyton has been pretty clutch as well. Having said that I just wish I had either of them here......

And that was included as to how Denver won... The fumble cemented it.

The Vikes might be blacked out this Sunday against the Saints

The local Fox (Fox9) is HEAVILY promoting tickets available for the game (like during every local commercial on the NFL game and all last night) so there must be a bunch of tickets left

If its blacked out Packer fans will rejoice as then Fox will show that game instead

LOL because despite all their greatness, the Patriots have experienced Eli clutchness a couple of times...even though they rarely play.

I know you're not saying Eli has a better body of work than Peyton...but what I'm saying is, Peyton also has a LOT of clutch wins...not all of them are of the 42-10 variety.

I think...I could be wrong...didn't Peyton pass Dan Marino last year for the most fourth quarter comebacks in NFL history? I could be very wrong, but I do remember something like that.
