Indy can win a game maybe two and still have the 1st pick in the draft ....
THIS week would be an excellent time to do that !

There are games they play down to their opponent.

Well, Colt and Harrision got together again after a play and chatted, didn't seem like either was too worried about it.

That said, McCoy should not have been out there in that drive after the hit, he looked pretty dazed when they showed shots of his face.

When I first saw the play, I thought they were calling him for hitting a UNprotected QB, as they said on TV .... and the fact that McCoy was RUNNING the ball, that should not have been the call, but then when they said a hit to the head, I understood the call.

Btw, I didn't see you comment on the hit to, Bens head early in the game, wasn't helmet to helmet , but was a clear blow to the head.

An arm that grazed the head by a falling defensive lineman is different that a flying thug leap and drive with a helmet into the face of an unprotected QB. Harrison is the dirtiest player in the league and should've been ejected for that hit. I hope he's fined and suspended going forward.

Decent overall game. The Browns hung with the Stools. Very hard hitting game all around. Typical low scoring, beat the piss out of eachother AFC North game.

Didn't watch the game, but all over the media this morning they're talking about another questionable (trying to say it nicely) hit by James Harrison. Same story different game.

When does it ever end with this guy???

Here's the hit. I'm sick of this POS! Fines and suspensions don't seem to be working with him. He doesn't get it and he won't change. This thug is going to kill or paralyze someone someday. I'm being dead serious! A lifetime ban would be appropriate. He leads with his helmet to the face of another player. This is illegal and vicious. This isn't the way the game was designed. Harrison plays to kill. He's a ruthless savage and it won't stop as long as he's allowed to be on the field.

The replay from behind Harrison looks much worse than the looks from the side. Looked to me like Harrison's helmet mostly hit him in the chest. I think McCoy got knocked "woozy" when his head hit the turf, not from the hit itself. McCoy left the pocket (considered a runner), tucked the ball and at the last moment tossed the ball. No way Harrison could not hit him.

I understand that the way they want to protect QB's that officials are going to throw a flag in probably 90% of these hits but I don't think a fine lert alone a suspension is called for.

Watch again. Harrison's helmet clearly is driven into McCoy's face and his head is flung violently backwards as a result. Leading with your helmet, especially towards someones head is against the rules. Harrison essentially used his helmet as a weapon on a defenseless player.

I'm pretty disappointed there wasn't any sort of retaliation from any of the Browns players for this either. If your QB get's hit like that, you stand up for your teammate. Plain and simple! For D'Qwell Jackson (as shown on the replay) to be holding what appeared to be a light hearted conversation with Harrison after he just tried to murder your leader, well, that is kinda weak. If this were the NHL, there's no way a guy like Harrison would be let off the hook.

Totally agree. Harrison lost the benefit of the doubt a long time ago...he's just dirty.

harrison refuses to adapt to the rules. its a shame because he's a talented defensive football player. i don't understand why not tackle him there instead of leading with the helmet???

Exactly. Shoulder to chest would have been a hard hit too, but clean.

I've got no problem with hard football hits on QB's. I do have a problem with Harrison leading with the crown of his helmet into the face of a player though. Hopefully Harrison will have what's coming to him.

I think you missed the call on Ben then ....

As for Harrison, we'll know on Tuesday.
