I read it pissed off the local "U" fanbase, though.

It did because it is being done in the same Stadium the U plays. I can see both sides for taking their stands. But the real reason TO ME why I think it's stupid, why was this not done the year they won the championship...not a few YEARS later?

Bills schedule gets interesting- tricky games that seem winnable

Giants- tough, but schizophrenic (when they play good, they're real good. But when they play poorly, duck and cover.)

Redskins- That's a toss-up game

Jets- the defense is less than stellar compared to the previous 2 years, but has a core that made it to 2 straight AFC Titles gems

Cowboys- talented, but capable of giving a game away

Give a decent NFL defense (and I put Oakland in that category) a couple of weeks to gameplan against Tebow, and he'll be spending a lot of time picking himself up from being sacked, or picking himself up after being picked off.

Good news for Denver is if they plan to block Tebow from running he can hurt them with throwing, or hand offs or screens. By having to worry about Tebows run, they have to leave someone open and Tebow is good at finding that someone.. As anyone whos played against him in college.

i think at the very least your team should be 2-2 out of that stretch. if not better

Wouldnt it be great if the Broncos trade Orton to the Dolphins? And he starts against Tebow? That would make a good story and put eyes on the screen. Of course Tebow and the Broncos will destroy the Dolphins but at least its a story.

But he's not playing against college teams now. Every team he plays will have All-Americans at every position. People who are just as fast, just as smart, and twice as mean.

Also, now that he's been announced as a starter, opposing defenses will gameplan for him. I doubt the Chargers did this past Sunday...

Now that he has been named a starter...when Denver "destroys" Miami, they will face 2 of the nastiest defensive front lines one right after another... the Lions at home and Oakland on the road.

...with that offensive line...? Never wish for something too much...you might actually get it.

Ain't happening :)

Again how do you defend against it? Its the perfect combination for offense and leaves a man open every time. If you protect against the QB run. because now defense has to worry about the TE, RB, WR, and the QB all being threats. If you rush to block the qb run then you have to leave open the screen pass. If you cover the screens you leave open the run. And in all this mix you have to defend against the long ball, because Tebow CAN throw it, and accurately.

Well the lions may very well be to much for the Broncos, but it want be simply because of Tebow.. The Lions Offense will man handle the medicore Denver defense. Tebow will have a lot of trouble keeping up with the Lions scoring.

Now as far as Oakland goes, Denver already proved they can hold the raiders Offense (they held them to just 23 points) and if not for a (imagine this) mistake by Orton (he fumbled) they very well would of won the game. So now with a more productive QB in place and more offensive weapons there is no reason on paper why the Broncos do not beat the Raiders by at least 2 TDs.. However it will be decided on the field as the paper is not always right.

 I want to order whatever your smoking/drinking or eating.... LMAO!:haha:haha:haha

I am assuming you were talking about the Raiders because for that game, they were missing the entire WR corps as well as both of their starting CBs...LOL!

But I will stop and let the game do the talking in two weeks.

The steelers had a player like him, slash, teams were able to defend against him. Tebow is still a rookie he will make mistakes and probably get happy feet.

Yep! And my guess is teams will force him to throw to see if he actually can do this and accurately.

There's some smart defensive minds in the NFL. They'll figure something out.

Plus, if TT was as dangerous to defend as you describe, why hasn't he been starting since day one??

Because there head coach is an idiot for putting his faith in a hack like Orton? He is after all a head coach known for keeping dead beat QBs for way past there prime..

Running QBs don't do well in the NFL, even Vick isn't that good, he can't throw and he gets hurt running all the time.

For full disclosure, THIS is the Mighty Quinn's GF.........

I'll say this much, it doesn't suck to be an NFL QB and have "Brady" somewhere in your name!
