2010 NCAA Football Season

I am extremely disappointed in my teams performance today. I do like the fact Urban made them stay on the field even on almost all the 4th downs, to help them build confidence because they certainly didnt have any. I think the pressure is WAY to much for this basically rookie offense.

Sure we got a couple of return players luckily we got Demps back and Brantley did not play that bad, it wasnt a single player that messed up it was a complete team failure. They should of lost today. I think even Myer thought so. He looked mad at the touchdown we got from the "hail mary" type play. Sure it was great play to jump through and catch it but purely lucky bounce.

And I hope Urban makes some adjustment at center, Pouncey is an amazing lineman, but he never ever played center. His brother did that. Center is certainly a skilled position that it seems Pouncey is not quite ready for. He is rushing the snap way to much, hes playing like a guard and not a center.

Lots of adjustments need to be made and I am surprised Urban didnt make them during game, I think he knew FLA could pull off the win and wanted to test his offense, but obviously something is not working. If not for our Defense who is also almost brand new (thats what happens when you have so many players go into the draft at once)

Aw well, as i said in the start of this thread I was not expecting much, maybe a 2 loss season, now after this first game it maybe 3-4 loss......

Both Ohio State and The U played inferior teams. BOTH teams completely dominated the competition SOUNDLY. So bringing up one should have beaten the othe by more nonsense.

Both games were set up as preseason games.
Especially since some coaches will dial it down in the second half and not intentionally run up the score.

Kentucky played great in the first half and then coasted to the win.

Well, Bama looked good, but it was expected against who we played.
Got good third string action for some guys.
Happy so far, and ready for a good game against Penn State.
Any PS fans on here?

Someone needs to tell the Center's for both UNC and Oregon St to pay attention to when to snap the football when your back is within 10yards of the damn endzone!!!! Man UNC even with all those players out played good and hard with too many early mistakes!! Oregon St was right there with TCU but that center tossed the ball early past QB's head and he kicked it back out the endzone for a safety...cost Oregon St the game pretty much.

TCU ranked #6 after this game? Naw I see them dropping at least a slot or staying right where they are but the rest of their schedule is weak besides Utah.

Problem with this is if your tight neck and neck with another team in the polls you need all the points you can get since that BCS Computer doesn't care if your being sportsmanship like or whatever by slowing down the scoring machine....it only see's NUMBERS so I say run that sucker up!!!

I thought they took that out of the equation a few years back?

msmith, which game do you think Ingram will be back for? Penn State? Duke? Someone else?

I would love to see him back next week, but dont want them to rush it. I would say duke at the earliest.

I will say, level of competition aside, any fears that our backfield would suffer should have been put to rest.
Lacey had 105 (averaged 8.8)
Richardson had 84, and did not play much (averaged 7.6)
Goode had 58. (averaged 5.3 )

LSU nearly pulls off an epic chokejob against the Heels.

McCoy's head almost exploded.

UNC should have won that game... LSU defender was holding all over that receiver on the last throw in the end zone!!! Ref's cost UNC that ball game after UNC out played LSU even with 12 men down! Tired of seeing Ref's screw over teams...

Pianalto said there was no interference and that he just dropped them in the story I read on yahoo.
Still, LSU did not close that game like they should have. They have some adjustments to do.

Oh so your saying the computer is flawed? Good thing we have PEOPLE also in the vote to take care of those flaws.

LSU played a heck of a 2nd quarter. I forget the names but #2 and #5 are some FAST kids. Was it 2 punt returns for TDs? He lost UNC defense by at least 10 yards.
