2009 NFL Draft Countdown

Oh Please....that guy is even MORE of a cartoon than Dickie Vital...!! I can draft better than he can! That guy is the biggest joke in the world and I bet the ONLY reason ESPN keep him around is because people tune in to see how much of ass he makes himself on tv. It's like KNOWING a disaster is coming on the freeway and you park you car on the side of road to watch.

I like him. He seems knowledgeable. He knows all the players very well. He can spew stats like a well seasoned scout. I enjoy listening to his takes and opinions on the draft.

They posted on ESPN that this guy's (Kiper) prediction rate is 80%. Sure hope he is wrong about the Lions. we can wait till next year to draft a QB.

I hope he is wrong about the Raiders too! I like Macklin, but we need some serious offensive line help...and if it ain't Crabtree....then the WR need can wait till the 2nd round. Besides, the last couple of games, the emegence of Thillens and Higgin at WR is growing on me.:D

Kiper has Cleveland selecting LB [ame]http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/tracker/player?draftyear=2009&id=23926[/ame] out of Wake Forrest. While I completely agree with taking a stud LB with the #5 pick, has anyone seen this Curry play? I don't think I've seen a Wake game this year. Personally I liked [ame]http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/tracker/player?draftyear=2009&id=24662[/ame] out of USC. That dude seems like a beast.

EDIT: Kiper has Detroit taking Maualuga with their second first round pick at #20! Wow, that would be a steal Paul!

Kiper has Cleveland selecting LB Aaron Curry out of Wake Forrest. While I completely agree with taking a stud LB with the #5 pick, has anyone seen this Curry play? I don't think I've seen a Wake game this year. Personally I liked Rey Maualuga out of USC. That dude seems like a beast.

I saw him play and he is very good, but I am with you, Rey Maualuga is a beast....BUT, I really don't think he will be around when Cleveland pics. IF he is, either there some crap we don't know about or some GM BEFORE the Browns just brain farted and made a huge mistake!

Sanchez huh? According to the draft guru's, Stafford is still the #1 QB in this year's class. I hate to say it, but Sanchez reminds me of Joey Harrington.

I personally think BOTH are overrated. One played in a no defense conference and the other just has mot played ENOUGH good football to make him a top 10 pick, much less a 1st round pick.

....now watch...my F***in' Raiders draft one of those two clowns just because Al Davis is a QB whore.....:(:(:(:mad:!! LOL!!

Yeah, this year's QB class as a whole is very weak. Not a good year to draft a QB IMO.

I think Stafford is better too, the Lie On the field ... feel Sanchez is more mobile ... they have a point, maybe they should look at Micheal Vick.

I like Stafford better than Sanchez and Bradford (who's NOT coming out) but don't think any of them are can't miss.
Sanchez has only played a year of football as a starter .. slightly more that Matt Cassel.
What is this, go to USC, barely get on the field and become a NFL QB ?

They seriously need to look at building thier O and D lines, starting with the best O lineman in the draft .... but then again, these are the Lie on the field's Lions running with the SAME people that were there when millen was there, just shuffled the jobs.

I would skip the QB and go for them, they could quite posibly get the O line with the first and another with the 2nd 1st round and be looking MUCH better, if they can manage to get two starters with them, MOST teams can do that with thier 1st and 2nd round picks.
Of course, it really doesn't take much to make the Lie on the field's now does it.

Ugh. Thinking about my Football team depresses me. I'm going to try and shift my thoughts and energies toward the better run franchises in this city (Cavs and Indians). The Browns still need to get their act together. And it starts from the top executive on down.

As do the Lie on the field's :D

my F***in' Raiders draft one of those two clowns just because Al Davis is a QB whore

They already have Russell.

IMO, the Raiders will draft a QB in the later rounds to be Jamracus' backup. As for what the Raiders need now, IMO- Crabtree. Russell needs a guy he can throw to 10-15 times a game.
