We here in Michigan look to this day as "Our Superbowl"...lol

Not sure what to do at one....But at 20, I would love to see James Laurinaitis LB from OSU

Why? One of the best MLB's we had came from that "evil school from the South". Talent is wherever you find it. The Lion's haven't found much talent anywhere the last 51 yrs.

I wish I could say the same thing about Michigan Alumn for the Browns. That damn Braylon couldn't get rid of a bad case of the dropsies last year.

That's a hard one to figure. Edwards was so damn good here, and yet he's sucking wind in Cleveland. Maybe the change in coaching will get the space between his ears right.

Hopefully he just had a down year. He flashed signs of greatness in '07. This year will be critical for Braylon's future.

I would agree, prior year he was money and that offense was one of the hotest to end the season, not sure what happened to the hands this year

On another note, is Derek Anderson done or will him and brady be battling for the starter spot

That will be for new coach Eric Mangini to decide. Either way, he will have to pick someone and move the other. Both can't co-exist and be looking over each others shoulders for another year.

Well if they trade one of them, they sure as hell better find a backup. I never want to see Ken Dorsey again!

Very true. The worst thing to happen to Dorsey was to have both QB's in front of him go down as he was finally exposed. Before that, the 3rd string QB had the ideal job.

With Sanchez going Pro, I think the game on Sept. 12th just shifted to advantage tOSU

I'm gonna say it.

2009 will finally be the year USC's deathgrip on the conference is over!

Oregon will be the new champ!

One prominent Florida player is going, another is staying with the BCS champion Gators.

Junior wide receiver Percy Harvin announced Thursday that he will enter the NFL draft, while All-American linebacker Brandon Spikes said he will return for his senior season.

Washington Declares for Draft

In addition to losing one of the largest and most accomplished senior classes in team history, Ohio State will bid farewell to three juniors and welcome back another for the 2009 season.

Ok, I finally got to watch the whole Pete Carroll/ Mark Sanchez press conference.

And I must say, I have a VERY strong opinion about it......

First off, Screw Pete Carroll! I just lost all of my respect for someone who I valued pretty highly in the college coaching world. Not any more. You NEVER throw your kids under the bus the way he did. What a jerk-off! I realize Pete's entitled to his opinion as we all are, but to verbally bash a former student/player is just wrong. In addition, by Pete publicly criticizing Sanchez he just cost him money in his future profession. After all, if your college coach doesn't think you're ready for the NFL, why would an NFL front office want to pay you like you are?

IMO, Sanchez made the right decision. Here's why....

1) Two blue-chip underclass QB's (McCoy, Bradford) are returning to school next year. This means less competition in the draft.

2) There are some draft guru's who have projected Sanchez either the #1 or #2 available QB in this years draft class.

3) He supposedly spoke with Matt Leinart, and financially speaking one would assume Leinart was less than enthusiastic in the hindsight of his decision to return, and the projected subsequent $30 million it might have cost him.

Personally, I'm just shocked that no one in the media is questioning Carroll and his royally snotty treatment of Mark Sanchez.

Random thoughts at the start of May
