I usually try to see the glass half full and have been okay with all the indies on PS4, but four retro games? Terrible month for me.

Just grabbed Defense Grid 2 on Steam for $3.74. I like tower defense games from time to time and this is supposed to be a pretty good one.

As if four nearly identical (at least to my eyes) 2-D retro-style platformers in September's PS Plus offerings wasn't bad enough, this week the PS Store is having a Retro Sale -- though I am a little tempted by Grim Fandango.

In anticipation for Rainbow 6: Siege, Ubisoft is having a Humble Bundle sale on a LOT of Tom Clancy games. One MAJOR note, these redeem on uPlay, NOT Steam. Slightly aggravating, but on the other hand there are a LOT of games here. You also get access to the Siege MP demo.

A couple thoughts that aren't actually big deals. I like how Microsoft always does the free games on the first of the month no matter which day of the week it is. That makes more sense to me than Sony's version where they always do it in the afternoon on the first Tuesday of every month.
Second, I like how Sony lets you grab every game at the same time. I don't like having to remember to check the Games with Gold again to grab the free games that run from the 16th to the end of the month.

It's a pretty tempting offer but I have too many games I want to play this fall already. Fallout 4 is going to eat a ton of hours and Taken King comes out for Destiny in a couple weeks. Arkham Knight should finally be getting it's big PC patch any time now too.
