Somebody, please, put a link with instructions how to reposition 61.5 Dish to 129. ;)

Move the dish about 70 degrees right :p

But seriously, search the forums, lotsa threads about it!

This is driving me nuts. What was it - a couple months ago there was a thread about the HD DNS in testing on 129 & 61.5 and nothing ever came of it. Then it was finally posted that they were no longer there. Now it looks like they're back up again. Driving me friggin nuts I tell ya.

Grrr, I'm too far up north to be able to get 129, not to mention the trees that'd block the low elevation. Please mirror ESPN 2 HD on 110 or the wings for so that us poor souls that can't get 129 can view it! By the way, what does ESPN 2 HD show anyway? :D

I would think e2hd might get mirrored on 61.5 at some point, since the entire Northeast region has very low Line of sight to 129. Espn2hd shows mostly College Football games in HD now. They also have had MLB when baseball was still in action.

Schedule of whats on both channels :)

ESPN2HD will also help cover some of the HD World Cup action next year. I seriously hope that 129 is not the only location it'll be on, though. I'd hate to have to pay more to get more equipment to view 129.

That's the thing. College basketball will be pretty big because there are more games per week than college football but that's about it, right?! No hockey since it's on OLN and Sunday Night football is on ESPN and ESPN HD. World Cup 06 in HD sounds really good, though. :)

Damn, I wish I had my Dish Network setup already (Nov 26th) and that ESPN-HD2 was activated. My NIU Huskies are playing tonight in HD ! :D

So what is the deal with ESPNHD2 only being on 129? I'm due for a new install in a little over a week and have no idea if they will give me the new dish 1000 to get that satellite (at 129) or not. Is there a way to request that dish yet?

Uh Oh!

Mark Lamutt just posted " Repeat after me...must get MPEG4 receiver...must get MPEG4 receiver..." in the DBSTalk uplink thread.

If ESPN2HD is only on 129 that is a pretty dumb decision. A lot us on the east coast cannot get 129. You can't put a major HD national channel like ESPN2HD on, and only have it for some of your customers. Even if they needed to move one of the VOOM channels off 61.5 they need to put ESPN2HD on 61.5 so everyone can get it.

Right, just like us in the mid-west that don't get 61.5 and have been living VOOM free this whole time. If you are going to mirror crap to 61.5, freakin' mirror them on 110 too.

if you cant get 61.5 theres no reason why you cant get 129... witch is were voom is also uplinked too..!!!!!!!!!!!!

no he's saying you can get voom where you are off of 129, which will still require a second dish but not pointed at 61.5 but 129

I think everyone should be able to get all these HD channels be it on 61.5 or 129. However, what I really mean is if there are limits, and they cannot fit all the channels on both, a channel like ESPN2HD should not be the one they leave off either of these two satellites. Leave off a less major channel like one of the VOOM 21, etc. To leave a lot of your customers without a major channel like ESPN2HD is plain dumb.
