The Road to SuperBowl XLIV: The Official 2010 NFL Playoffs Thread

Mark Clayton to Willis McGahee (picked up by a CBS field mic):

"You've got to work on that lateral movement" :D

Both #1 seeds win their divisional playoff game, a total role reversal from the #6 seeds made the conference title game last year
yeah so far the rust factor is not a factor at all!!!!!:D:D i got the chargers and cowboys today. i actually fell asleep during the indy game . hopefully todays games will be better. although i was entertained by the saints game.

I've got the Vikings and Chargers, but thats who I WANT to win, not who I expect to win.

I want the Boys out, but that game could go either way.

Rust vs Rest ....
Rest is WINNING , so far.
yep. if we get at least one more team that had a bye to win today it might mean that teams this season threw on a coat of rustoleum.:D seriously, the bye week teams have done a hell of a job so far in preparing for these games. :up

My picks against 3 of the bye teams wasnt predicated on rust, it was based on stuff like the Vikings playing poorly with few exceptions leading into the playoffs, the Colts having not won a game in a month, and the Saints not scoring more than 17 since damn near November.

NFC Championship Game- Next Sunday

Minnesota at New Orleans- 6:40pm ET/3:40pm PT

Somethings gotta give...................EITHER

the Saints make their first EVER Super Bowl

OR

the Vikings go to the big game for the first time in 33 years!

We're now seven games deep into the postseason, and we've had ONE game (Packers-Cardinals) that was even remotely competitive!
yeah lets hope the next game is better. the tops seeds doing great!!!!! so the chargers should win then :p:D

i think the vikings are going all the way. dallas was not an easy team to beat much less beat the hell out of them. i don't see the saints defense doing well against the vikes offense and brees is going to have a hell of a time against the front D for the vikes. i'm cheering for the saints but picking the vikes to win the nfc championship.

there have been a couple more competitive games, 14 points is not insurmountable, the Ravens/Colts and this game were decently close until the 4th quarter.

I agree that 14 points isn't insurmountable, but the way the Ravens and Cowboys offense looked it might as well have been a 28 point deficit.

IMO, the only way either of those teams made it a game would have been a turnover or special teams play.

Could very well be, Rey!

If San Diego wins this next game, very little seperates the final four! :up
