The Road to SuperBowl XLIV: The Official 2010 NFL Playoffs Thread

No thanks to him. He dropped a guaranteed TD on a perfect pass from Sanchez.
He'll be better this week now that his legal woes are behind him. $1000 fines and 6 months probation....he'll be playing free and easy from here on out. :)

Despite dropping more than his fair share of passes, the guy stretches the field and takes chunks of the secondary with him, which is part of the reason the run offense is doing well for the Jets.

This was the final straw for Braylon (aka "Scissorhands") in Cleveland.

Rule #1 to all future athletes in the CLE: Don't mess with LeBron, or his court!

Braylon Edwards Assault Charge; Jets WR Makes Cleveland Court Appearance - WJW

I've never seen a city held hostage by an athlete, like Cleveland is with the "great" LeBron James:rolleyes:

I mean how can Cleveland live without all those championships that the "King" has brought them?

You people are so afraid that you will make the slightest misstep and than he won't resign.

Looking at the 4 NFC teams remaining (for now), there are no bad matchup possibilities for the NFC Title game.

Cardinals-Vikings- The battle of the prolific geezer QB's, with the December game as an interesting subplot for the rematch
Cardinals-Cowboys: Romo and Warner in a QB duel at Cowboys Stadium in primetime for a trip to the Super Bowl

Saints-Vikings- The two top teams in the NFC record-wise
Saints-Cowboys- An intriguing rematch of one of the season's most important games

Four elite quarterbacks, four prolific offenses, four stadiums with no weather issues, four delicious matchup possibilities.

I agree with everything you said............EXCEPT the weather part!!:D

Me likes a bad weather game or two in the postseason! That's why I'm holding out hope for two upsets in the AFC. A game at Giants Stadium on Jan. 24 is mighty intriguing! :up

Does anyone else find it strange that the winners of last weeks games are playing in reverse order of when they won?

Last week's winners were (in chronological order): Jets, Cowboys, Ravens and Cardinals. This week the Cardinals play first, followed by the Ravens, Cowboys and Jets.

Has this oddity ever happened before?

Also, keep in mind this followed Jets-Bengals opening up the playoffs last Saturday, AFTER those same two teams closed out the regular season.

It's been a longgg, cold week and I'm ready for some football, baby!!! :D

IMO, the divisional playoffs is up there with the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, as the best two sports weekends of the year! :up
