The Following

Wow! I was a little worried after last's weeks rather tedious episode, but last night it bounced back big time (and in the ratings, as well). More members of "the following" surfaced and a good old cliff hanger ending. Perhaps the best episode since the premier. Next week looks equally intense.

Terrific episode. Keeps drawing me in. Not much of a cliffhanger. He's the star of the show. He has to get out of it.

"The Fall": A new follower reveals Carroll's true intentions; Hardy tries to turn Jacob, Emma and Paul against one another; Emma makes a surprising decision.

My wife has surprisingly gotten hooked. She likens it to Monday nights of "24" days past.

You know I really like this show. It's very suspenseful and I know you must keep an open mind to the things that are happening. But it's starting to get a little too crazy. I mean planted cops? C'mon man!

Well, the 4th episode will be my last. I am a fan of Kevin, but the wife and I both decided tonight that this series is just a bit too dark for our taste. I may tune in to #15 to see it end, who knows.
I couldn't stay away...I had to continue watching. :D

I agree. I thought the planted cops and swat members was a bit unrealistic.

Agree with the planted cops scenario. However,I thought tonight's episode was really good.Kevin Bacon was in rare form during his hostage situation.I had to chuckle a few times.

I don't know that the planted cop is any more unrealistic than the others. BTW, my wife swore last week the girl deputy was one. I disagreed. Wrong again. Yes, I too, liked Bacon's "Give a s**t" attutude.

"let Me Go": Joe Carroll makes a case to be transferred to a different facility, raising Ryan's suspicions; Emma and Joey come across one of Roderick's men.

I thought it was just the one (the Sheriff gal). The 2 guys ambushed the swat guys out on the perimeter and took their uniforms then proceeded to the house and killed the other 2 swat guys. I could see them if planning the safe house to get someone in the local sheriff's department.

I agree with Teehar -- the scene where he was totally messing with them was really a nice touch.

I'm hooked, and so is my wife. She called the lady cop as part of the cult in last weeks' (2/18) episode.

That's the thing about all the followers. It's becoming so many that I find myself questioning EVERY character on the show. I even thought a couple weeks back that the female lead detective was a follower. Although I don't really feel that way now after her background story.

Ahh,it's a tv show, fiction at that.Sometimes the premise is a bit stretched but,I always think back to men like Jim Jones,David Koresh,Adolf Hitler, etc. There are a lot of gullible people in this world.
