The AL West 2009

Coors Field fixed that. :(

Now we know how little power the Mariners have in their lineup when they can't score at Coors....and now the pitching is banged up as well.

Dodgers, Red Sox and Yankees are on docket next...it may be do or die time.

Just 2.5 games out now and at 500. :)

Yup. A reverse laffer. Nothing to jump up and down about except for Vlad's re-emergence. I HATE those runaway games either way.

I don't know how long Vlad's been back, but it looks like him and Maggs are on similar course so far .... Maggs has started to hit as has Vlad, Good for both teams and players !
Too soon to get excited about Maggs, but it's a positive start anyways.

And poof! He's gone again. Magg's goes 0-fer-4 yesterday.

I don't think the two organizations are the same in ANY way.
Angels don't go out and outbid others for players like the yankees do.
Angels don't have ALL the Money in the world on thier side.
Angels play better and more entertaining ball.

Jimbo
They are entertaining but they spend some serious cash!

Dodger's are in the same ballpark.
My point was that the Angels don't go out and outbid for players like the yankees do.

Plus, if I may say so, I take offense to the likening of the two in that the Angels organization IN NO WAY displays the open, in-your-face arrogance that the Yankees do. Be it the wealth, the ability to sign big players if needed, and just the way the whole organization goes about its day-to-day business. No flash. No flair. Just play Angels baseball from Class A to the Show. ;)

Sometimes when you are within, you see things differently than those who look in at you. But, I am dead-spot-on with this response to the remark.
