Wasn't MHD testing on 129tp19, like the others? Wonder why they put it on tp17?
Here: http://www.satelliteguys.us/dish-network-forum/104031-satelliteguys-us-dishnetwork-uplink-activity-report-week-ending-08-18-2007-a.html Or is that the other way around? !sadroll
Brain fart. I guess it was testing on tp17, and moved to tp19.Still don't see MHD on TP17.

Since it's summertime, I am giving Comcast until early October to get these in my area. Otherwise, I believe the MDU install in my place of Dish allows for the MPEG4 channels, so I'll definitively be one of those "I'm coming back to Dish"
Still no Indianapolis HD locals. No chance of me moving until that is done.
The extra channels are great news for E*, but much of the HD content I watch is from locals.
Has there been any movement this afternoon as far as uplinks go?
I am expecting the VOOM to be cut over to MPEG4 soon.

No OTA HD available?
If not there's always "moving", to pick up the one or two networks you are missing OTA.
All is quiet... Anyone have their 811, 942, etc tuned in waiting for the channel to go dark?
I tend to agree, and have an online essay about why, which can be found at:Tony <---Old fart that thinks anything recorded after 1990 is crap.
I'm recording the first ever Mythbusters (Episode 1 - Jet Assisted Chevy) right now. It's definitely in 16x9. It is hard to say whether this episode was originally in 1080i or not - it could be "zoomed". (I see that a lot on National Geographic HD, where they have a show with a talking head filmed in HD and then some 1980 camcorder footage that is zoomed to be 16x9.)This was a nice surprise this morning. I was hoping they would be available before MythBusters tonight.
Now I just hope that Dirty Jobs, MythBusters and Deadliest Catch are in HD.
Thank you E*!
