The Bruins beat the Panthers tonight, 8-0. The B's are now statisically the best offensive team AND defensive team in the NHL (119 GF- 63 GA).

The Bruins "backup" goalie, Tukka Rask has extended hs scoreless streak to 115 minutes.

The NHL has moved tomorrow's outdoor Winter Classic game betwen the Rangers and Flyers from 1:00pm ET to 3:00pm ET due to "mild" conditions in the Northeast. The game is on NBC among all the college football games.

Most of the stuff was from the "NBC Sports preview" they were showing this past weekend on NBCSN (Versus)
It was a one hour show that was pretty well done

I was just about to say to myself,"surely they can't have a Philadelphia Flyers home game without singing 'God Bless America'?" Well,my faith has been restored since they sang it in the first intermission.

Who knows,It could be because they sang the Canadian anthem first,then they wanted to follow it up with the American anthem. Anyway,now both teams are finally scoring.

Wow...hockey message boards going crazy with theories that the Flyers were given a lot of opportunities to tie the game late, so the NHL's signature regular season event could go into overtime. Interesting...and it's not coming only from Ranger fans, it's coming from neutral hockey fans across the continent.

You know I'm the last person here who whines about officiating, but I will say that some of the calls in the last five minutes were...curious, to say the least.
