Did I really see this ?

Watch the Lions celebrate their Super Bowl victory ... in Madden 11
The Detroit News

The Lions' 53-year wait for a Super Bowl championship is over -- sort of.

EA Sports' Madden NFL 11 features a make-believe celebration of the Lions winning Super Bowl XLV, defeating the Colts.

A voiceover by Gus Johnson proclaims, "From hapless to hopeless -- to now, finally, unbeatable".

In the animation, Calvin Johnson is holding the Super Bowl MVP trophy and the Colts' Peyton Manning walks off the field in defeat and Lions players and fans celebrate. There's even video of a celebration parade and meeting President Obama.

I think the AFC Central as to really worry. I think Cincinnati has improved. AND, T.O., to my knowledge has had any incidents with the law. Something you cannot say about the Bengals.

As long as he doesn't do some of the stupid stuff he has done in the past to distract from the team.

I saw this, way too funny especially the Gus Johnson commentary, we always say around here that IF the Lions ever did win the Super Bowl, I think the area would be stopped in there feet, because we would not know how to celebrate :D

What do you think of these ESPN power rankings?

While I'm always hopeful of the Bills, I sadly have to agree with what John Clayton said- "The only thing the Bills can look forward to is the 2011 draft and a new quarterback."

I take nothing out of his rankings because they have yet to play a single down. ALOT can happen between now and the 1st game of the season. This and political polls are only useful when deciding which bathroom tissue to use.

It's the FINAL poll or rankings that REALLY count!

Steelers fan thru and thru. I also get the Washington Post which has a touch{sledge hammer} of bias. If the skins can play as a team they can make but I believe they look for out number 1 first. Since when has Big Ben ever learn from his mistakes - still rides a motorcycle and ask the ladies if he has changed. So being a fan and not a gambler Steeler over the Skins in the SB

I too don't take anything from these at this point of the year.

Kinda harsh there aern't we ?

There is nothing wrong with riding a motorcycle, IS he wearing a helmet these days ?
I don't know, but if he wasn't I'm sure it would be ALL OVER the news.
I have no issues with him riding .... unless they have made amendments in his contract that forbids it, which I never heard anything about them doing.

Long time Steelers fan here.

What do you think, Leftwitch, Dixon or Batch to play the first 4 games ?

Skins in the Super Bowl?

They'll have a hard time making the playoffs, let alone achieving a winning record.

Oh yes you would, just burn everything down. Ya know, the usual!! :o

Someone picking the Steelers to go to the SB is equally surprising. No Ben for the first part of the season and they've got a pretty rough schedule otherwise, and the Ravens and Bengals should be pretty heavily favored to compete for playoff spots from that division so they're probably looking at 2nd wildcard spot which is tough from 1 division.

One of the few things in their favor... do they ever even play a game outside their time zone?

Jimbo - I think Batch is a cool cucumber who is probably the best right now but Dixon is for the future. Leftwhich never gets a chance to play so its hard to tell about him. We'll see what's in the wind when training starts. As for the Skins, I thought the NY Times was bias until I started to read the Post but like I said the Skins have to play as a team not individuals
