Personally, this is my favorite uni combo for the Browns...
(ala Brian Sipe and the Kardiac Kids!)
Been watching Cowboys-Raiders. Oakland's got some guys. Jamarcus Russell has a cannon for an arm and Darren McFadden looks good. The problem is they still have too many numbnuts who jump offsides or get called for holding. Jon Kitna's resurfaced as the new backup for Romo in Dallas. Nice to see that a QB coming off an 0-16 season can find work in this economy.
Just got done watching the Stoolers vs. Cards. A few observations:
-Ben Roth looks chunky as hell. Did he pack on a few pounds over the offseason? He also has blonde/bleached hair. What's the deal? What a homo!
-I hope they play Sublime's "date rape" when he comes to Browns Stadium. So fitting (grrr. I hate me some Yinzers)...

Seeing that you do not watch too many Raider games, the off-sides crap has been going on FOR DECADES NOW!
Guys that RARELY jumped off-sides in other teams, for some reason pick that crap up when they become a Raider! I TIVOed the game last night...it was played at 2am on the NFL network....so I could see it today.
I know it's preseason and all, but How 'Bout Them......... RAIDERS!!!!

NAAAHHH....means nothing. As long as JaMarcus showed some improvement and NO ONE GOT HURT, I am a happy man.....the score nor who won meant nothing to me. I have yet to see the game, I will later today.
I saw the highlights on ESPN. Darren McFadden looked good from what I saw. I can see him having a breakout year.
ALL I HOPE FOR is a healthy team....we have nothing major where guys miss more than 2 games....and the season will take care of itself. There is TONS of talent on this team and no lingering coach issues hanging over like a dark cloud.:up
The dark cloud is still up in the front office. Until Al goes, the Raiders will continue to be mediocre at best.

NO....I am saying there is no pissing matches between the coaches and Al Davis. There RELATIVE harmony in the camp for the 1st time in a long time. ALSO, we do not have the 1 dissentor(fighting with AL) and 1 a$$kisser(fighting with the disentor FOR AL).....EVERYONE, at least FOR THE TIME BEING, everyone is on the same page.
More like the backups showed no heart. Romo and the starters only played 2 series and they were good. It was the scrubs who sucked and they will most likely be back to working at Home Depot or UPS in a couple of weeks.

So far, Denver got the way short straw in the QB trade. Orton - 3 clean picks, 32 something QB rating (and I've seen WAY too much of that crap the last few years).

I said it then, and I'll say it now- this was a horrible trade for Denver. for they have a weak-armed wimp.
The only thing I didn't like at the time was trading Orton - thought he should be #2 behind Cutler. Kid has all the tools (but maybe not the instincts).
Based on what I saw tonight, I was way wrong. Guy isn't even a decent back-up. Still made my stomach drop every time he threw a clean pick though (shades of the last 2 seasons).
Good luck Denver fans, I think you are gonna need it.
