NFL 2009-10 Season

Scary thing is he's the most experienced QB on the Dolphins active roster with Pennington on IR today.
i was wondering today who miami would sign since the #3 spot was vacant.so i'm guessing he will be at #2 while pat is at #3 and newer chad is at #1.

I'm in tears from watching this, there's an obscenity so will spoiler it:

I don't know how you guy's can be bashing (or ready to) Henne, he hasn't even had a chance to play yet.
i'm not bashing him. i'm basing this on when he's had a chance to play. which hasn't been a whole lot but he hasn't shown much either at those times. that's why like i said before this is his time to prove himself. like salsa said, the fins haven't shown much confidence in him either so far. all we can do is wait and see

Am I the only one that thinks Jeff Garcia is an absolute perfect fit for the Fins?! The Eagles even just released him! Why did they trade for Thigpen when Garcia is out there for the taking?

Vegas Meets Week 4 in the NFL. Brought to you by HDanny Ocean

Week 4 should be interesting in THE National Football League. When scouring the Vegas lines, I found a few things particularly intriguing.....

1. The 0-3 Titans are 3 point favorites on the road. I wonder if this ever happened before?

2. The 3-0 Broncos are 3 point dogs at home! I wonder if this has ever happened before?

3. The 3-0 Ravens are 2 point dogs on the road to New England. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Ravens not only easily covered this spread, but beat the Pats by 2 scores. This Ravens team is the most complete team in the AFC right now.

4. The biggest point spread differential is between the Bears and Lions. I suppose Vegas doesn't like the odds of the Lions winning 2 in a row? The Bears are 10 point favorites in this game.

5. Right now, Vegas has the Bengals as 6 point favorites over the Browns. Call me silly, but I'm still not sold on the Bengals. If Eric Mangini names Derek Anderson the starter this week, the Browns covering this spread and possibly beating the Bengals outright is my upset of the week. If Quinn remains the starter though, I wouldn't want any part of this action.

6. The Saints are favored by 7 over the Jets. While I don't think Drew Brees will go 2 weeks without throwing for a TD, this game could really go either way. If the Jets win this one though, they may very well go 9-0 until they see their next formidable opponent on Week 11 at New England.

7. The fact that Washington is a 7 point favorite over Tampa Bay shows you just how bad the Bucs really are. Yikes!

8. The Seattle @ Indy game may be over by the 2nd quarter. If I were a fantasy owner with any Colts, I'd be salivating at this matchup.

9. After a tough Week 3 loss, the Niners return home to the Bay and nothing will cleanse the pallet like a home game against the horrid Rams. With or without Frank Gore, look for the Niners to exceed the 9.5 points they're being favored by.

10. While I expect Pittsburgh to get back on track somewhat this week, a 6.5 point favorite against the Chargers? Really Vegas? Historically, the matchups between these 2 teams have been heavily contested. This one should come down to the final possession.

11. Green Bay @ Minnesota is a suckers bet. The Vikes are only 3.5 favorites? From what I've seen so far, the Packers just aren't playing on the same level as the Vikings are yet. Plus the Vikes are at home. Despite giving the Packers 3.5 points, look for them to more than cover. The Williams brothers are going to have a field day with the Packers decimated O-Line.

Cam Cameron may not be head coach material, but he's a great offensive coordinator. He took the Ravens from counting on the defense to score into one of the most productive offenses in the league.

Yep. And Flacco's growth in development makes this team one scary force to be reckoned with.

i would also pick up marvin harrison. we need desperate help at the wr position and he can at least bring experience to the table. just give him a 1 year deal.

Just heard on the radio that the Browns have named DA the starter next week. Is Quinn done in Cleveland?

I read in the paper that Quinn has an escalation clause in his contract that if he starts "X" amount of games, he will receive an $11 million bonus. It's possible the owner didn't see $11 million worth out of Quinn to justify him starting the remainder of the season over DA....

That would make sense. I wonder if DA is just keeping the seat warm for Bradford.....I hope not. The Tim Couch debacle burned me for life on QBs as top draft picks.
