NFL 2008-09 Season

The Broncos ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!

As bad as K.C. was, they REALLY exposed the Broncos- they are just as bad against the run as the Colts are.

I think Denver is a fraud, IMO.

I agree because of two reasons....ALL their losses have been total and COMPLETE ass whippings....and all but their ass whipping of the Raiders...they have barely squeeked by.

Honestly I think the Chiefs are the worst team in the league. Did you see they allowed 330 rushing yards to Tennessee yesterday? Get those defensive players some skirts.

I've been saying this since preseason. BTW, Jimbo and Paul, if the Lions were to play the Chiefs, even they would murder that team! Johhny Q (is that your QB's name now?), would look like Johnny Unitas against the Chiefs.

BREAKING NEWS:

ESPN reporting Cleavland Browns TE Kellen Winslow was suspended one game for comments critical of team's handling of illness...

THIS IS BS! :mad::mad::mad:

Basically KW2 came out and talked to the media after the game on Sunday following the game against Washington. While he was critical of team management, he also revealed that the reason he missed the previous week against the Giants was because of a "staph infection". This mysterious infection was unknown before Kellen said anything during that interview. He told the media that it was the organization's idea to keep the subject silent, their choice to not reveal any specifics and not his.

In the meantime, the internet was rampant with rumors as to the reason why Kellen was in the hospital. It was even reported on Deadspin's site that Kellen had "swollen testicle's" and alluded to him having an STD! All of this speculation was the result of the Browns being secretive and their lack of a formal statement on Kellen's mysterious infection.

Bottom line, Kellen is now suspended because he was truthful to the media. The Browns are pissed that the "staph" was revealed. This is now the 6th instance of a player contracting this infection in the last few years. I'm sure Browns management is scared this may make the organization look like an unattractive place to play for future free-agents. And since Kellen came clean and didn't stay silent, he and our team is punished next week in a must win game.:mad:

Winslow's suspension might be a blessing in disguise.

Remember, they manhandled the G-Men without him. They could light up Jacksonville, a team still shaky against the pass.

YouTube - Kellen Winslow is a soldier

Everyone that comes to Cleveland must instantly become a saint.

Dude, give up your personal vendetta against KW2. The "soldier" comment was made when he was in college back in 2003, when Kellen was 20 years old! There's probably things that everyone says at one point in their life that they regret, especially when they're younger. Give the guy a break.

Besides being involved in a motorcycle accident, Kellen has been a model citizen throughout his tenure with the Browns. In his 5 year career with the Browns, Kellen broke his fibula, tore his ACL, went through approximately 5 surgeries on his knee and suffered multiple bouts of a staph infection. He does everything he can to play every week and plays his heart out every game.

This current suspension is simply the result of Kellen telling the truth. I'm on KW2's side on this one. The Browns handled this situation wrong. I can't believe in the current world of our media, that the Browns front office actually thought they could keep this a secret. If Kellen's true intentions were to clear his name, I've got no issues with what he said during that interview.

Players like Winslow are the reason the Browns will not be successful like other organizations. Funny they hire a guy so they can emulate the Patriots, but yet they don't learn from them in player personnel. You think teams like the Steelers, Colts or Patriots would put up with someone like that? Of course not, that is why they win, team first, not me guys.
