This game is done.....Boy what a bunch of Up and Down games by so many teams this year....
It truly is the strangest year!
This game is done.....Boy what a bunch of Up and Down games by so many teams this year....
That is quite the assessment.
Personally, I thought the worst NFL Playoff teams ever were:
The 1999 Dolphins, a 9-7 team that finish THIRD in their own division and got annihilated 62-7 in Jacksonville.
The 2002 Colts who got obliterated 41-0 by the Jets
The 2003 and 2004 Broncos, which lost to the Colts by scores of 41-10 and 49-24.
My NFL Top 10:
1. Tennessee
2. Buffalo
3. Tampa Bay
4. Pittsburgh
5. Carolina
6. NY Giants (They looked a bit lackadaisical against the 49ers- had they pummeled them, they'd be higher)
7. Arizona
8. Washington
9. Atlanta
10. Chicago
Bill Belichick OWNS Monday Night Football.
I don't think he's lost a Monday Night game in years!
One thing that I will bring up in the future is how the Patriots/Colts game in two weeks will be an incredible polar opposite of last year.
Since I didn't know Bill until December/January last year, this is my first chance to talk about the Pats/Colts game and how things have changed since their EPIC BATTLE OF THE CENTURY!
The Broncos ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!
As bad as K.C. was, they REALLY exposed the Broncos- they are just as bad against the run as the Colts are.
I think Denver is a fraud, IMO.
I'm not so sure that there's a decent football team west of Dallas.
Arizona Cardinals?
I can't wait for three weeks from this Thursday night (Nov. 13), when YKW comes to town!
Now that the game's over, I ask you this question:
what are your thoughts on the firing of Mike Nolan by the 49ers?
I think he was a victim of troubles with offensive coordinator.
