If nothing else my Lions are consistent. With the exception of last week, they have managed to start every game this season 21-0! Yesterday they gave up 20 first downs in the first half alone. Marinelli's favorite saying is "pound the rock". I think the team thought he said "pound your *ock", because that's what the team looks like they're doing. Houston did show us a new offensive play, though. It's called "throw the ball to the receiver that isn't covered by a Lion defender in 5 yds." Marinelli promises to put in the playbook as soon as he can find players to execute it.

Don't be fooled by the final score, the Lions were never in this game. Hell, they're not even in this season. This is the most pathetic football team I have ever seen, and that includes 51 seasons of football. The Tampa Bay team that started their existence with 24 straight losses would have given these guys a beatdown.

I find it startling that the 49ers used to be God-like. Now, they're like the Orioles- from proud to pathetic.

Hard to believe now (brrrrrrr), but in their first two home games (weeks 1 and 3) they wore white to beat the heat.

That's why I asked. I'm not used to the Patriots wearing anything other than their blue jerseys at home. I was shocked to see the Raiders wear white at home a couple of weeks ago too. Call me old school but I like teams like Pittsburgh and Green Bay that don't change things up. OTOH the Bears orange jerseys get a big thumbs down. Same with the Jets throwbacks.

I love em. I have no problem with alternate jerseys as long as they look good. The Chargers alternates are quite catchy too.

I'm with you. Do it like in college. I'd give exceptions to teams like the Cowboys, Redskins and Dolphins that usually wear white at home, but everyone else show some pride. Sport the colors.

The AFC West is the screwiest division in the NFL.

San Diego can't hold onto the ball against Buffalo; Denver can't do anything against what I assumed was a dead and buried Patriots team.
