NFL 2008-09 Season

That's a lot worse than Leon Lett. The problem with Lett was more of a lack of hustle, allowing Don Beebe to catch up to him.

That play reminds me more of a MNF game about 20 years ago. I forget the teams, but the receiver spiked the ball before he got into the end zone.

sabres,
what we just witnessed is the biggest bonehead play I've ever seen.

I believe it was Bears/Chargers..Chargers WR...1983 or 84.

But this game is a great one so far, like two heavyweights slugging away.

The Eagles still scored a touchdown. Had they turned the ball over or gotten no points, than maybe.

sorry,
to me that's irrelevant.

I also owe you an apology. I was laughing earlier when you asked o/u 80 points. It looks like you knew what you were talking about! :up

This game could end up rivaling that Redskins-Packers MNF game back in the 80's. I think the final score was something like 47-46.

WHY would the Eagles try a lateral play?

This is a home-run ball situation. They should have tried to go deep for DeSean Jackson or any of their 100-yard wideouts from last week.

Eagles played well, but made some dumb mistakes- this, and the Westbrook/McNabb fumble.

Have you guys seen Seattle's injury report? They have NO healthy WR's. They are in big trouble.

Might as well put Matt Hasselbeck on that list too, his back is killing him, he will be out for the season sooner or later..

Where's the D No D in Dallas, no playoff victory ....

Hope they learn to play some before the season ends for their sake.

Jimbo
A win is a win is a win.

The Eagles offense (with a healthy McNabb) is obviously a threat to score every time they have the ball. The Dallas D made some adjustments in the 2nd half and held Philly to a little over 100 yards of offense. They'll be OK....

It was actually 48-47. (Ramy knows more about that than me)

Hard to believe a mediocre Packer team scored that many points in a game.

I remember that game. The Cincy vs Cleveland game broke their record for most points scored last year. I think.
