NFL 2008-09 Season

Oh no, no, no, no, NO! Did you realize we had a one pt. lead with 5:17 left, and THEN gave away 24 pts? We started the game with some improvement over last week - it took a whole 15 more minutes to fall behind 21-0. Then GB went to sleep (boredom set in, I suspect). We stumbled (literally, did you see Johnson's TD?) back into the game, just to have Kitna throw it away. No running game, NOTHING even remotely resembling a defense, and a QB who consistently makes poor, to excruciatingly bad decisions, and everybody dares top say there are worse teams in the NFL? PAHLEEEEEEZE!

All I can add to that is @#$%&**#@!

END THE MILLEN ERROR NOW!!!

You feel the same pain I do about my Pirates.

Did anyone see how the Chargers got hosed in that fumble call...or lack there of...?
Yeah, they got hosed. But they shouldn't have let themselves get down by two touchdowns at the half. Same thing that happened last week with Carolina. Come from way down to take the lead late in the game, then blow it. I'm starting to see a trend. Bolts are 1-5 in September under Norv.

Matter of fact, that two point conversion looked a lot like the Panther's touchdown pass to win it last week.

PLEASE do not remind of that 51-3 drubbing!! I was there.....pist AND freezing my ass off!! NOT a good combination. But it will be a VERY long time before Buffalo has teams like THOSE.

Sorry, but I'm a bit jealous.

You've had more sports success than me.

You have lived through five Miami Hurricanes national titles in football, the Raiders' last Super Bowl, the Marlins' 2 world titles, and the Heat's 2006 title.

OTOH, I have four Super Bowl losses, a Stanley Cup Finals loss, and the Sabres selling their best players for a box of donuts.

BTW, the week's not over yet, and I look for Donovan McNabb- who I predicted will have a HUGE year- to have a big game tonight.

Speaking of Donovan McNabb:

1. I predicted that Tom Brady would once again win the MVP.......Umm, wrong :(

2. I predicted a Chargers-Vikings Super Bowl. Not looking very good....considering both teams have started 0-2.

Which brings me back to McNabb:

1. McNabb will win the MVP

2. The Eagles will win the Super Bowl

The ghost of Leon Lett is alive in Texas Stadium.

That's a lot worse than Leon Lett. The problem with Lett was more of a lack of hustle, allowing Don Beebe to catch up to him.

That play reminds me more of a MNF game about 20 years ago. I forget the teams, but the receiver spiked the ball before he got into the end zone.

sabres,
what we just witnessed is the biggest bonehead play I've ever seen.

I'm not a fantasy football guy, but he just took away a TD pass from McNabb.

I'll say it again, Donovan is playing like a man possessed!
