NFL 2008-09 Season

Next week will be the real test for the Steelers, IMO.

Remember, the Giants and Lions were 0-2 and 2-0 respectively at this time last year.

I believe we all know what happened from there on...

And now they are reversed, Giant are 2-0 and the Lions are 0-2 :D

Back to reality for the Lions ..... Could they be the Anti Patriots and go 0-16 ?

The Steelers aren't the Lions(Sorry Paul:)), I'm not saying the Steelers are going to win next week, but it will be a good game.

And if Philly wins, well that doesn't mean the Steelers aren't gonna win the division, and if the Steelers win, that doesn't mean the Steelers are gonna win the division.

A South Park character doesn't strike me as an avi for a guy who bleeds black and gold.

If you look at some of our avatars- mine, Bill's, Jimbo,'s, HD's, satjay- they show our team loyalties.

I don't have to display my loyalty for my team, I know I like my team.

But I'll try it.

Gonna be be in Buffalo next week when the Raiders come to town. Very excited about this game....Raiders show night/day improvement....and gonna see family... of course...LOL!

Looked much better. But they better get that passing game going, Russell was brutal. Defense played much better, actually put some pressure on the QB.

People wonder how Matt Millen keeps his job, I would ask the same of Carl Petersen.

Niners, 1-1, 2nd place in NFC West.

*Happy Days Are Here Again...* (for hopefully more than just 1 week, but I won't hold my breath. ;p )

Right now....I am gonna take one game at a time. The offensive line is MUCH better at run blocking than pass blocking, that was obvious. The combination speed(McFadden) and bruise(Bush) is nice to have. So FOR NOW, Russel was not needed that much. but sooner or later, teams will be putting 8 in the box I will agree with you there! And so far, they only have thrown to Asomugha 3 times in 2 games. Hall is DEFINATELY getting a work out, but look MUCH better. Next week, will really be a test IN Buffalo....

After 3 complete quarters...the Raiders have held KC to 71 TOTAL yards!

....*quietly optimistic.......:shh*

Run DMC had a real nice game. 164yds and a TD in his 2nd game as a pro!

Also, as I predicted in my preseason predictions, Kansas City (not Baltimore, Cinci, Miami or Atlanta as others predicted) would be the worst team in the league. Looks like this is now more true than ever.....

Thoughts on the early Sunday games.

1. There is more wrong with the Colts than Manning Knee, but nice comeback.

2. Vikings can't hide behind QB problems, he just can't win games.

3. Buffalo might be legit.

4. Between the Rams, Chiefs and Bengals whose worst?

5. Admit it America, Aaron Rodgers is a pretty good QB.

You forgot the worst team of them all - LIONS!

No...right now...I think KC just has not offense. I think it is a dead heat between Miami and Cincy...sorry Ramy....

Oh no, no, no, no, NO! Did you realize we had a one pt. lead with 5:17 left, and THEN gave away 24 pts? We started the game with some improvement over last week - it took a whole 15 more minutes to fall behind 21-0. Then GB went to sleep (boredom set in, I suspect). We stumbled (literally, did you see Johnson's TD?) back into the game, just to have Kitna throw it away. No running game, NOTHING even remotely resembling a defense, and a QB who consistently makes poor, to excruciatingly bad decisions, and everybody dares to say there are worse teams in the NFL? PAHLEEEEEEZE!

All I can add to that is @#$%&**#@!

END THE MILLEN ERROR NOW!!!

Paul, does Detroit play Kansas City this year? Maybe they can coin that game, "The Toilet Bowl"! ;):D
