NFL 2008-09 Season

Thoughts on the early Sunday games.

1. There is more wrong with the Colts than Manning Knee, but nice comeback.

2. Vikings can't hide behind QB problems, he just can't win games.

3. Buffalo might be legit.

4. Between the Rams, Chiefs and Bengals whose worst?

5. Admit it America, Aaron Rodgers is a pretty good QB.

My random thoughts on the early games:

1. I think we buried the Redskins too prematurely

2. The Titans/Bengals game would have been far more lopsided if Vince Young wasn't hurt

3. Marvin Lewis or Scott Linehan- Who gets fired before the World Series?

2. I was thinking the same thing while watching this game, they really need an experienced QB.

3. Could be

4. I'd like to say Bengals, but I think it's KC

5. I felt that Rogers would be good all along, I did not expect the Pack to fall off the face of the earth like some did.
I liked what I saw from him last year and he's looking more comfortable this year.
He's had a lot of time to learn.

Looks like the Broncos are not ready to ride into the sunset!

They look like a legit playoff team- Cutler, Royal, and Brandon Marshall could be the AFC's most lethal passing combo.

I was happy with the Patriots intensity today. They definitely played with a chip on their collective shoulders (after hearing doom and gloom all week).

they played the Vikes so NOBODY is ever out against them

2. Vikings can't hide behind QB problems, he just can't win games.

bingo. Being a Vikes fan (I guess) I saw them get ahead 15-0 even after the dropped TD pass but then Longwell misses a FG...and of course he was jinxed by the Vikes pxp guy

"here comes Longwell in for the FG. He's 7-7 this year and soon will be 8-8"...and he missed

but yeah the Vikes have major QB issues. Sure Tavarius was decent in the pre-season but that's the PRE-SEASON!!!

pretty soon they will have signs at the dome to say "I wants me some booty" (as in John David) :D

The Patriots have now won an NFL record 21 straight regular season games dating back to December 2006. They host the Dolphins next Sunday.

Thoughts on the Late Sunday games.

1. Stop the voting this minute! Mike Shanahan is the Coach of the Year for going for 2 to win the game!

2. Give the 49ers credit, they made plays when it counted and the Seahawks didn't.

3. It wasn't pretty, but the Patriots did just enough to win.

4. Jay Cutler may be a rising star at QB, but Philip Rivers since the playoffs last year has been stellar.
