to be fair the pats of last year would've won the east regardless of how good or bad the division would've been.
Thoughts on the early games:
1. Get your laughs on Zona now, but in two weeks, you'll live to regret those comments! Anders, I am looking at YOU for a rematch! If Zona wins the Wild-Card game, let's test that 8-0 home record out!
2. I can't believe some of you guys thought the Lions could beat the Saints. Thank goodness I didn't fall for that trap!
3. HD MM, I hope you don't have a heart attack ranting about the Browns/Bengals game.

You realize that one of those 8 wins was over the Cardinals. My guess is that in 2 weeks the Cardinals will be finished. Whoever gets them in the WC will feel like they had a bye. Remember the Giants last year? They got to play TB in the WC after the Bucs had quit on the season a few weeks earlier. That game wasn't even close and the rest is history. It's never a good sign when after clinching your division you become less competitive than the Lions.

Salsa what are you thoughts on the Raiders winning? They are cheating themselves out of a better draft pick (assuming they had enough sense to pick a good player if they saw one). At this point there's nothing to be gained by winning, and don't even start with one of those pride aruguments, this is the Raiders were talking about.

I like the fact that ALL the starters that are healthy playing....maybe pull out a win and go unto the last game of the season with some momentum.....
I do not believe in that unless it's a blowout lead or in my Raiders case, being blown out. Either way you look at it, the Raiders will have a pick somewhere between the 4th/5th and the 10th/11th....ANYONE that knows about football knows there will be PLENTY of very good players available at almost every position when there turn comes up.
THIS is the kinda of things that you cannot blame on bad players.....Raiders lead 27-16 with about 8 minutes left....and offensive coordinator, INSTEAD of calling a run play to kill some time, they call some Bullsh!t roll-out pass play where Houston sent EVERYONE include the press office secretary in an all out blitz and they cause a fumble and recovered at the Raiders 15 yard line!!!!! People can say the Raiders players suck but damn that is ALL coaching! They have not played to the little strength the Raiders have all year, decent run blocking and 3 good running backs!!
SO......Here is the good news....Raiders WILL win this game, BAD NEWS is Nnamdi was hurt and has been out of the game since half way through the 3rd quarter.
By the way......Andre Johnson 2 catches for 13 years...hows THAT for a shut down. Nnamdi IS the best cover DB in the NFL.....too bad there is a good chance we will lose him possibly at the end of the year due to his contract.

Brutal loss for the Eagles. They miss out on a game tying TD by an inch. Now they need to beat Dallas and have the Raiders to win next week to make the playoffs. Basically, they're done.

Talk about a bunch of losers, how about the Broncos? They lost again today and now have a rematch in SD next week for the division title. After the cheap way Denver won the 1st game and all the tough losses the Chargers have had I really hope SD wins. Any team that loses to both the Raiders and Chiefs in the same season doesn't deserve to make the playoffs.
