Without HIS BRAND of QBing...patients, accurate throws, making very little mistakes...the Dolphins DON'T win more than 3 or 4 games...MAX!
How about a defensive player for MVP? I can't nominate the Steelers defense, but a helluva case can be made for Harrison. That guy is eating offenses whole.
I would have to nominate ANOTHER Dolphin and former Steeler....he maybe an a$$****, but we are going on what he did ON the field....that would be Joey Porter....INFACT, also give him "Comeback Player of the Year" award too if they NFL has one.
He was left for dead last year, people down here were crying and bitch about him ALL year...but they didn't realize that in the 1st 2 years he played for the Dolphins....he had not played in a 4-3 defense. The Dolphins went to a 3-4 and he has exploded WITHOUT Jason Taylor.

Yes, they had a slow start, lots of injuries on both sides of the ball, and Manning not starting 100%!!!...But they have been able to overxcome these problems and have managed to win 8 in a row. Have they been close wins???...Obviously, but throughout the season, Peyton has managed to bring this team together, and have an MVP performance week after week.
Did luck have anything to do with their wins???...Of course, a little luck is involved in almost every winning season by any team!!!...
So how long ago was it that the Colts stepped on your toes. anyway...you seem to be able to hold a grudge for a pretty long time and think that what a team did to your team 20 years ago has anything to do with how they play today!!!...

2. An easier out-of-division schedule- next year, they play the inferior NFC North and pathetic AFC West.
