NFL 2008-09 Season

Talk about a bunch of losers, how about the Broncos? They lost again today and now have a rematch in SD next week for the division title. After the cheap way Denver won the 1st game and all the tough losses the Chargers have had I really hope SD wins. Any team that loses to both the Raiders and Chiefs in the same season doesn't deserve to make the playoffs.

It's called tough conference losses. The teams in your conference always have a heads up on you. I will not hold that against the Broncos...and I hate their guts. Look, you Panthers have 3 loses and 2 are to conference foes and they were ass whippings too....conference games are tought games to win. AND in defense of the Chiefs, they lost 6 games by a TD or less.

I've noticed the Ravens got a hard schedule too...
If they play like they did this year I don't see a bright future for them.
But a lot of things change every year, I could see the whole Raven's team turned upside down for next season.

I was right :)
Look at the Ravens...
They raped the Cowgirls.

Btw, this season many teams surprised me, one of the many was the Falcons.

Please.

Your Pats won the AFC East last year when it was PATHETIC.

Funny you speak of a bad division winner when you experienced one yourself.

1. I'm a Jets fans, not a Patriots fan

2. As much as I HATE the Patriots, you comparing a team that went 16-0 to this laughingstock Arizona team is unbelievable!!

3. As far as I'm concerned, you have ZERO credibility when it comes to discussing NFL football . You've been putting down the Super Bowl Champion Giants at every turn, but yet you find weekly excuses for this fraudulent Arizona team. It's pretty pathetic

4. CLICK!!

Good news for the Patriots. Since the Jets, Patriots and Ravens games have the same starting time, and since the Jets can make the playoffs if they beat Miami and if either the Patriots or Ravens lose, then the Jets will be motivated to win that game, at least, until the Patriots and Ravens games are both out of reach.

Thoughts on the early games:

1. Get your laughs on Zona now, but in two weeks, you'll live to regret those comments! Anders, I am looking at YOU for a rematch! If Zona wins the Wild-Card game, let's test that 8-0 home record out!

What will it take for you to realize that this team is a fraud?

I only hope they play the Giants in the playoffs. :D

I still can't believe the Jets lost!

If the Jets can't win the division, I hope Miami beats them to keep New England out!

Salsa what are you thoughts on the Raiders winning? They are cheating themselves out of a better draft pick (assuming they had enough sense to pick a good player if they saw one). At this point there's nothing to be gained by winning, and don't even start with one of those pride aruguments, this is the Raiders were talking about.

Thae Rams know what's up. They managed to blow a 13 point lead in the last 4 mins. That's right up there with the Chiefs collapse last week.

Right now Dallas is lined up to play Arizona in the 4-5 wildcard game.

The Cowboys would absolutely crush them (and yes I realize Arizona beat them in the regular season).

You mean we could have the sixth Colts/Chargers game since 2004?

Oh, boy- maybe it ISN'T all roses for the Colts now.

Never know what team for the schizophrenic Bolts will show up. The one that almost lost to KC last week, or the one that pounded the Bucs and the Pats.

4 TD's for DeAngelo Williams! Can we PLEASE drop Clinton Portis from the Pro Bowl? What does a guy have to do to earn some respect?

Giants win, get the #1 seed, but they are not exactly the hands-down Super Bowl pick they were a month ago.

Earth and Fire saved them (I don't think Bradshaw did much).

I'll give Ward and Jacobs credit- they played well- but I am still a bit iffy on their chances to win it all.

Remember, #1 seeds have not exactly cakewalked to the biggest game in football (2004 Steelers, 2005 Colts, 2006 Chargers, last year's Cowboys) and Eli did not impress me tonight or the last few weeks.

Anders, how devastated would you be if Carolina were to lose this game?
Pretty bad. I haven't felt this bad since the SB loss to NE. That was a high quality game. The only good news is that this was just a regular season game. This is a Panther team that can win it all. Hopefully they win next week and get the bye.

Two other factors:

1. They got off to a great start, but as we have seen in the past, it's not how you start, it's how you FINISH.

2. Just because they are the defending champs doesn't give them a free-pass in the playoffs. See last year's Colts, who couldn't beat an injury-depleted Chargers team.

I will still make the Giants favorites, but with extreme caution.

Oh, and anders- the NFC South is STILL unclaimed. They have to beat a Saints team that will be pissed after what happened in Charlotte. If not, you better hope Atlanta trips up against the Rams, but then again, the Rams... well, they're the Rams.
