NCAA Football 2014 season

Ohio State has looked PATHETIC for most of this game.

O line can't block, gotta give the QB a little time to make a play ....

I'm still waiting for this Defense Secondary they keep talking about ...

They talked that they were gonna change the D approach this year, couldn't against Navy because of thier odd offense, but the recvrs for Va Tech have been open all night.

Tell ya what, Va Tech has a very good QB, really like his play and some very good recvrs, they catch EVERYTHING.

Bucks are their own worse enemy, 2 missed FG, a dropped pass in the endzone.

Defensive backfield that is learning as they go, they might want to walk over and introduce themselves to the WR's , that will be as close to them as they have been all night.

Couldn't help but notice how pissed Woody was when they showed that clip of Ohio State's last home opener loss against Penn State. Wasn't 1978 the year he lost it completely against Clemson and got fired?

Yes ...
But where did you see Woody reacting to the video shown tonight ?
He's been long gone ... :amen

YEAH BABY!!!!
Nice game ...

You have a very good QB and a Awesome D.

I thought everyone was saying that Brewer was a Freshman ?

The Roster shows him as a Jr. He looks very polished, but if he's a Jr, he should be calm and able to respond like he did.
If he's a Freshman, he was Phenominal

Brewer will be there next year too when OSU comes to Blacksburg. Brewer graduated from Texas Tech already - but he has two years left to play.
The defense did exactly what I figured they would do which was bring the heat the whole time and rely on the #DBU team! Sure some bombs got caught but at some point they were gonna pick some off and they did. My friends whom all just left all knew those last picks were coming...the pick6 well that was enough to spill some drinks!

So, if he graduated from TT and has 2 years left to play, your telling me he graduated fro TT in 2 years ?

Don't you have to sit out a year if you transfer ?

While Barrett stats show poorly in the passing game, I think IF the O line issues get settled, he will be fine.
NO QB would have done much better with the pressure they brought tonight .

That said, I'm disappointed that Meyer doesn't have any screens and draws in the play book apparently.

They had I screen they ran all night and Wilson was wide open, would have went for big yardage but I think pressure got to him and missed the pass.
But they Never went back to it.

The Bucks also left 13 points on the field that would have made it a much more interesting game.

Stupid WR for the Bucks, Smith, I think the QB must have something for him, he continuously went to him and he dropped just about everything his way, has a TD pass go threw his hands in the back of the endzone and the FG kicker missed 2 FG's, your FG kicker missed one, so really it was only 10 points missed on the field for the Bucks.

You had to know that VT would get picks late, knowing that they had to pass, but the Sacks are what really killed them.

Didn't Brewer play at TT, the name keeps sticking in my head ... unless theres another Brewer I'm thinking about.

All you need to know about Brewer - http://www.hokiesports.com/football/players/brewer_michael.html

The Defense is what really did the work against OSU and everyone was saying it all week long that the Bud Foster was gonna bring the pain and he did. This game reminded me of last years Georgia Tech's game and just about how he always plays against that type of offense. A win is a win...and I hand it to OSU they played hard. The rest of the schedule sets up nice now all the way to the ACC title game but there are some trap games ahead we gotta hurdle - starting with next week. East Carolina always seems to play really hard against us to the point I get nervous every year against them and we have a good Pitt team at Pitt this year.

Not going to lie.. it felt good to see VT win that game in front of a record of 107k fans most of which left with a tear in their eye. Kill those records and streaks...love it!! Felt really damn good!!! I just got off the phone with a guy there and he said they are still celebrating outside! GO HOKIES!

See what happens when you get yourself a Big 12 QB. :D Brewer graduated, so he can transfer without sitting out. There are some stipulations in that, but I don't remember them at the moment. He got caught up in Klingsbury's QB carousel at TTech and decided to leave since he was graduating early. He redshirt his freshman year and played 2 and has 2 years left including this year.

As long as your school does not have the exact post-graduate degree your going for, grads can transfer without sitting out a year.

Ok, he redshirted his freshman year (freshman year gone) played year 2 and 3, so that means he should be a Sr this year ...

What kinda school could TT be if you can GRADUATE in 2 years ?

What did he graduate from, Gym class ?

I thought I remember hearing his name, thought he was very good then as well.

Who was the TT QB that played ahead of him ?

Wondering why it was being talked all week that he was a freshman when he's actually a Sr. Graduated SR at that.

But how do you graduate from a College in 2 years ?
They mentioned that he took extra courses, but come on ...

DVR, I think you'll be in good hands for the next couple of years, he has done the Russell Wilson thing, start one place, play elsewhere and move on.
