NCAA Football 2011-2012

yeah but if LSU went #1 and played Kellen Moore St as #2 then the follow up team to the SEC would get a BCS bowl game anyway - the Sugar Bowl or am I wrong to think this is how it would work cause obviously the SEC champ can't play in both.

Its hypothetical.

I figured that was obvious when I said LSU beat us. :D

So tell me why on earth would a undefeated Vtech or Clemson or Gatech jump in front of a 1 loss SEC Team like LSU, Alabama, FLA, or even South Carolina, based on the schedule those teams had? I mean put VTech in LSUs shoes and likely have 2 losses already this season, with Oregon and WVU.
its not ACC bashing its stating the facts. You want to break the smack talk then your conference needs to produce results on the field.
Oh I agree, you have to prove yourself. And the ACC failed in almost every OOC game last year.

But, an undefeated Clempson should go over a 1-loss South Carolina, simply because for that to happen, Clempson would have beaten USC ;)

Lol...it's scary all the assumptions that are made here. It's funny how little assumptions are done in the NFL where they HAVE a playoff system and the tons of the assuming in a league that has nothing close to resembling a playoff.....LOL!

..."shoulda, woulda, coulda.. and if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle....!" LMAO!

It is one reason the college game is more fun IMO.
To a greater extent, the season and each game, means more.

I guess for you guys. TO ME, it won't mean anything because you can assume all you want about what would team A do with team Bs conference schedule, unless they were to play that schedule...you can yell till your blue in the face. More than likely, it will never happen. Nobody wins....or loses the dispute and your back to square 1...LOL!

Let's assume it's the glory days of the U, when they had a team worth assuming over. Would you be assuming then? I assume you would. :D

Of course he would. Hell I have seen him make an assumption or two in the past few years when they were not. ;)

Personally I would add Arkansas-Texas A&M to that list. On ESPN at 11 central.
Should be a good one. Two solid top 25 teams, tradition, final non conference meeting between the two.

No because as I have stated here many times. Polls are useless until they get into the meat of the their conference schedule. Which is around the 6th or 7th game. Also, as I have stated both HERE and the SonicBabble... polls are only good to rate toilet paper and breakfast cereal.

I am of the firm believer of playoffs and playoffs only. Hence my dislike of the "your conference can't beat up my conference" rhetoric. Hell, if we had no conferences at all, maybe would have had a playoff system already!:)

But it's being played at Jerryworld which will suck the life out it.

Don't the Aggie fans travel well? Should be just as many A&M fans there as Hogs. Besides, now that the Aggies are in the SEC, they need to get used to this type of big time exposure anyway. Place should be hoppin'!

You lose all the home field advantage when the game leaves College Station. The atmosphere changes. The Corp will be lost in the crowd. The 12th man mystique won't work there.

Big East Expansion?

When will Ohio State get the final resolution from the NCAA?
