NCAA Football 2011-2012

Any word on this coach as of yet ?

according to espn they said he's had these before since cancer treatments and that this one wasn't serious and he was doing ok just went to hospital to get checked out good. They expect him to come back as usual as he's had these at games before.

I just watched the last 5:00 of the ND / Michigan game (after the race).
I've never seen WR's so WIDE OPEN in my life, first ND's WR is left open for a what looked like a game winning TD, however, wait, the next drive, Michigan's WR is left wide open for a long gain down to the 8 yard line and they go on to score on a TD pass and win the game.

Both teams D need help desperately.

You should absolutely enjoy it! One for the ages and will be remembered for years to come....

A very sloppy game as Jimbo pointed out (defensive blunders and seven turnovers: 3 ND and 2 UM) but a very exciting game nonetheless. I went from joy to heartbreak to elation in a matter of a minute and ten seconds. Regardless, it was nice to see a night game played at the big house. I hope we'll see many more after 114,904 fans just packed the stands.

Penn State used all three first half time outs in the first possession. I dont remember the last time I have seen that.

Man I wish I were at this game, I would love to visit.
RTR!

You should of asked my sister is a alumni member. I probably could of asked her.

Inn so happy Penn state lost, I hate that school and that coach.

Why the hate? Penn State fans are less annoying than most and Coach Paterno has run a clean, above-the-boards, program since Lyndon Johnson was in the White House. As an outsider (not a PSU fan) I have been to games at Beaver Stadium and have visited the Seven Mountains dozens of times...never a problem. I'll leave my hating for the scumbag terrorists. ;)

Why the hate?
Because JoePa refuses to play Pitt, because he was butthurt that Pitt wouldn't build an Eastern Conference with them (Pitt and others that he wanted instead joined the Big East and brought football there) , and so Penn St. had to go to the Big Ten instead, and now refuses to play Pitt on a regular basis.

They think they are so better than anyone else, they think they are more important than any other team since they got that big stadium with metal seats, well they can play Temple all they want. I think they only won the Big 10 title once or twice since they been there, I hope they lose all their games.

BTW....Paterno needs to hang it up. He sounds old, looks old and he is more of a distraction than anything.

The Penn State program no longer is an elite college football program.

You know the popular slogan, right? "We are ... Penn State!" Perhaps it needs modified a bit to bring it up to date. "We are ... just another team!"

It's not just the 27-11 licking that No. 3 Alabama put on the Nittany Lions before a white-out crowd of 107,846 Saturday. It's that Penn State is 1-13 against Top 5 opponents since its 12-0 season in 1994. It was outscored, on average, in those 13 losses, 30-12. Only three times was it within a touchdown at the end.

That's not Penn State football.

Well, actually, it is.

It's just not the Penn State football that we used to know

As far as we know ....

Do you honestly think that they have not had ONE athlete accept anything ?

Really, Seriously ?

No doubt Penn State has their bad apples just like everyone else, but for the most part they are perceived as a clean program. I have alot of respect for Joe Pa, but he hasnt coached a game in years. He was in the press box yesterday and didnt even have a headset on. They are keeping him on board out of respect and to pad his win total.

I will say that Penn State fans are among the nicest I have met from any team.
