NCAA Football 2011-2012

I just re-read Beebe's letter to the SEC
...the Big 12 and its members will not take part in any legal action for any possible claims against the SEC or its members relating to the departure of Texas A&M.
Unless this was sent without Baylor's authorization, they forfeited their right to sue right here. I think they're just trying to get a settlement to drop this nonsense.

The Big 12 conference didn't have the right to speak on behalf of the universities regarding their legal rights. Each university has retained their legal rights unless specifically relinquished. That letter required the signature of every university president In order to be binding

This is why each university signed the tv contract renewal with Fox and not just Beebe. The conference only negotiates on behalf of the universities.

He actually wanted to do it last night, but the Repubs had a hissy fit, cuz they had a debate scheduled. (Did anyone watch that?)

And you and your Boise State conspiracy theories are just getting more and more retarded.....

OHh no not a conspiracy theory at all... I find it funny that they are being this smart to be honest. Good scheduling is the one thing that helps them and that's just being plain ole smart! As for Obama... nobody will watch his telecast full of lies, instead anyone with half a brain will be tuning into ESPN.

As for must see games this week? Well there are alot of them, I'm looking forward to see how Duke plays against Stanford since Duke's head coach is the guy that tuned the Manning bro's so it should be interesting to see how he tunes his team to take on Luck. I think Stanford will win but ya never know in ACC country :D

Actually they will be watching NBC where the NFL kicks off the season. :D

Did Boise St. join the ACC? :p

Granted, not everyone can start with Appalachian St., East Carolina, Arkansas St., and Marshall in a row... Btw, does VPI have a single ranked team on their schedule this year? nope.

Somehow he thinks belittling Boise St. somehow excuses the Hokie's loss to them.

As opposed to Bulldogs fans who've congratulated the Broncos, and called for Bobo's ouster (it's become a textbook pattern, missed pass on 1st, dogs will always run on 2nd).

lol of course not.. and this years schedule is a long time coming for a change, look at past years they have had many ranked teams..but pre-season and early season is just that all hype anyway. The year is young and I'm sure there are going to be some of those teams ranked by time they play them... FSU comes to mind whom both teams may very well be in the top 5 when they meet. Also if you want to poke at this year thats kinda sad considering past years. Granted, not everyone can start with Boise St then have only 2 days to prepare for the next game regardless of opponent vs taking the next week off. ;)

I'm also not belittling Boise St's smart scheduling at all.... I think its great for them to be smart enough to schedule like that - the hokies lost to them LAST year...thats last year not this year but they are a team I normally pull against each week just can't stand em or that horrible blue turf! I guess I'm one of many that just get so sick of the Boise st bandwagon that so many have jumped on these last two years, ESPN comes to mind as they do nothing but talk about them every week. All that died off quick after Nevada beat em last year so I'm hoping that happens again real soon. All these bandwagon fans best enjoy it now anyway, after Kellen Moore leaves they won't be nothing again.

Of course Georgia fans are gonna say good things to Boise St fans, I did the same thing walking out of FedEx field last year...it was a great game - nice and close. Boise St was VT's biggest fans last year and now they are Georgia's biggest fans this year.

On another note...so the NFL game is going to get shown on NBC over Obama's rant of lies? Good for NBC standing up!

Let's keep the politics out of it, shall we?

Your rants are bad enough.....

my rants? Sure about the politics but rants...no way, umad?

On a side note, I'm thinking Luck and Stanford may have trouble at Duke if they prepare for a QB attack which I'm sure he will bring.

Incase you MISSED it, he HAD to have it tonight because last night was taken, AND he said he was not wanting to go against the NFL, probably wants to watch it too and he will be DONE BEFORE the kickoff.

I saw this story:

Terms Presented by Notre Dame and Texas

WildcatReport.com - Message Boards.

I'm not sure that I buy it though. I can see Texas going, but why Notre Dame? They have considered themselves too good for a conference for so long. Why now?

MONEY ....

ND makes about 15 from thier contract and they would make 22 from being with the Big Ten

Maybe they realize they'd better get before the gettin' is gone.

Won't be too many places left to go, soon.....

Good point, also, maybe just maybe , ND is realizing that they are a middle of the Big Ten team but of course still feel they are on top of whatever conference they play in.

Yeah I see he pushed it up to not go against NFL or the CFB game tonight.. smart move.

but anyways... should be a good game tonight
