I guess the idea of facing Arizona or Oregon in Pasadena isn't that exciting.
It's a lot more exciting than getting destroyed by the SEC runner-up.

Let's take on the loser of the Alabama-Florida game instead!!!
Wait...let's not. Bring on USC.

I'm being realistic sweetheart. Even if we win out, there's no way we'll be able to do better than the Rose Bowl this year.
Interestingly, for all of tOSU's success under Tressel, they have not played in a Rose Bowl under his watch so far, but have made 4 Fiesta Bowls.
Will Sabres start bashing Ohio St for dominating the Big Ten and start cheering for someone to overthrow them like he's done with USC in the Pac 10?Doubly interesting: With a win tomorrow, this will be the 5th straight Big 10 Title for the Buckeyes.

Totally agree. I think my point is being misintepreted. I would rather the Buckeyes play USC, Oregon, Arizona, or whoever in the Rose Bowl than play the SEC runner up.
At least in the Rose Bowl we have a chance to be competitive.

Congrats to GT. Clemson will be their likely opponent. They manhandled NC State, and will win the Atlantic Division with one more win ore a BC loss.Georgia Tech is going to the ACC Championship Game.
(Thank goodness- no VaTech means it could actually be an exciting game for a change.)
At the rate things are going, neither team will be in the Rose Bowl.Yeah, bring on USC!
Revenge!
Defense sucks this year. It really just sucks. The guys are good, but you can't replace an entire defense in one year apparently. I don't consider this much of an upset as I considered USC overrated and Stanford underrated. They are #25 in the AP poll, they could be top 15 after this game though.Stanford 48, USC 21.
THIS is more surprising than the Oregon game- the Ducks are almost impossible to beat in Autzen.
But the Trojans giving up 48 points AT THE COLISEUM??
I felt this was an upset special, but I thought it would be close.
