Here's a question. If ND fires Fat Charlie and hires Brian Kelly from Cincinnati does Kelly pull a Rich Rodriguez and bail on his team prior to a BCS game?
Now there is something I never would have thought I would ever see, coming down to the Oregon schools to be in the Rose Bowl.
I swear Mark Ingram gets better the more he plays. That kid is a beast, and a true sophmore. Hope he sticks around at bama for two more years, but I doubt he plays his senior season
Miami gave that game away with those 4 pics. BUT that is part of the game. Miami's defense played well enough to win because UNC didn't do much on offense. But again, it is part of the game. I was pissed because ONE INT should have never been because that defensive player latteral that ball foward....but those calls against Miami are norm.:rant:

But I did say they were gonna go 9-3 and so far, I am on pace for that.....but it should have been a better season.Next year, they WILL contend for THE BCS championship.....
The heavy rumor down here is that Urban Meyer has ALWAYS considered the ND job a "dream job to have". With Tebow leaving....take it for what it's worth...

Only people over 50, or those in South Bend think that ND job is more prestigious or that ND is a bigger program than UF, just not the case.
There is no rumor, Miami and Gainesville might as well be in different states.
If Meyer leaves it will be for the NFL, not a downwards move to ND.
I figured that play would piss you off. I think the refs got it right, although it definitely was a weird play. I don't know what Burney was thinking, and why did Williams stop at the goal line? What's the deal with Jacory Harris throwing deep all the time? Kid is a turnover machine. I know he's got talent, but he now leads the country in INT's. It's like the only the thing he wants to throw is the bomb.

They managed to make this year half way decent by putting together a good stretch of games when they need it most.
Most of the players looked at the Purdue loss as a wake up call and they have responded since.
That said, they would not stand a chance against Florida or Alabama, but others up there could be a lot of fun.
Looks like they will be going to the Rose Bowl unless something really weird were to happen .... a different bowl, with higher ranking wanted them, but I think the Rose has the first choice in that scenario anyways.
So it looks like Oregon, Oregon State or Stanford on Jan 1.
Hopefully Pryor has turned the corner going into his junior year, too soon to tell.
His passing was better statistically (14-17) and he didn't throw any of them (up for grabs), like he'd been doing earlier in the year.

That is EXACTLY what Nick Saban said about the Alabama job when he coached the Dolphins.....and that is ALSO EXACTLY what Butch Davis said when he was coaching The U when he was offered the Browns head coach job....

Anders....there isn't a single college QB in America that calls his owns plays....none...not even Tebow. You know ALL those calls come from the offesive coordinator. He is also ONLY a true soph....I like his guts and leadership skills. Once the O-line gets more experienced as well as his recievers...he will be better. Remember, The U has MOSTLY froshes and sophs on this team and MORE than half are starters.
As far as the play, the rule was ABSOLUTELY correctly called....the problem is he fumbled it because he realized he was trying to lateral it forwards....his arms where already going fowards....so that was a foward lateral.
