The BCS Title Game: Five Teams, Two Slots, One Test Of Blind Resumes

Interesting read. I won't spoil it. Find out for yourselves. ;)

We’ve taken the top five BCS teams — #1 Florida State, #2 Ohio State, #3 Auburn, #4 Alabama and #5 Missouri — and tallied up eight different statistical categories for each. We’ve removed the names of the schools just to make things more interesting for you. If you don’t want to cheat, be sure not to click the “read more” button until you’ve studied the chart in full.

Of course the chart doesn't include the most important stat of all...loss record.

I think he had the Heisman even if they did not release results before the vote. Latest polling shows he had it easy, and the reason the media circus has been quiet the last couple of weeks is everyone started realizing the accusers story kept changing.

Read last 4 pages for Cliff's notes, what she told her friends and the TPD did not even match each other. As well as the family claiming in a statement a few weeks ago she was NOT drunk, yet part of her reasoning used for not remembering what happened is she was drunk. Jerks.

BTW FSU beats Duke even is JW isnt playing.

By 2 touchdowns if he wasn't, 5 with him.

Yepp, can't cover the spread once again without JW. But winning by 1 is winning :)

I dont actually think Duke does much on "O" against Pruitts "D". People have been on Duke about their players being a little froggy on social media. I like it, not always, but I like it here. Duke has been written off by everyone, I like them coming out and saying "hey, we are coming to fight". Good gamesmanship, and at the end of they day they won their games and deserve it.

Interesting that the "victim" had her own lawyer. Hoping for "Cha-ching"?
The texts to her friends showing a different story than what she reported to the police pretty much killed her chance to cash in.

It is typical for high profile cases for the victims to retain lawyers, even though it is the state who prosecutes things. The lawyer would be there to protect the victims rights etc.

The lawyer is also the live in "partner" of the girls aunt. They family knows people at the Tampa Bay Times; you do the math on who leaked this in Nov, after dropping it early this year, and what their motives were... Remember, when all this went down, JW was a nobody, had not played Baseball and was 3rd on the FSU depth chart... Big difference now.

Their attorney is an idiot IMO. They started using "rape" a few weeks ago. The family statement sent to and published by the Tampa Bay Times initially said that all the drunk reports were "wrong" and she only had one drink; since this directly disagreed with the police statement the article was later edited. The article she attorney just released shows you arent dealing with bright folks. She is still running around crying wolf when all them have been shot in the 10 closest counties...

This is funny

So the QB's dad for Coastal Carolina is whining about it being cold in Montana. CC plays at Montana on Saturday in round 2 of the FCS playoffs. Here is what he tweeted

so what if its gonna be 5 out? IN Fargo it will be -15 (but they are in a dome)

There have been PLENTY of games played in cold. Hell years ago NDSU (North Dakota State) played in a blizzard (pre Fargo Dome)

They need to start playing some more of these bowl games in outdoor stadiums up North. Snow, ice, wind, frozen field...a man's football game.

Why? Id rather see two teams play in great weather, so there is no advantage to any team based on the weather. That way we see who the better team is, not who just happens to be best at playing in snow, mud etc. Are the games fun to watch? sure, but id rather see an equal contest. Plus who in there right mind would want to sit in a stadium in -15 degree weather?

So playing in the sweltering heat down south doesn't give the team down south a decided advantage ?

At the time these games are played the weather is typically in the 70s-80s in dec/jan.. Im not saying come play in July ;) It was 83 today absolutely perfect for a game of toss... it is rare to have days in the 90s or higher in december/jan.

You talking bowl games? If so, what sweltering heat? It was warm this week, but 80 is hardly "sweltering"

Or have bowl games before the season in July or August in Alabama. Make it a real man's game. None of this sissy cold stuff. Let's do 90-110 with high humidity.

See who is man and who ain't. Roar.....

Not talking about bowl games, just making the comarision between those complaining about playing in the cold and saying that they have an advantage, its the same as a north team playing down south in the August / September.

Thats my point, it's ok to play in the 90-110 heat for you guys, and expect northern teams to come down and have no issues, but you don't want to come up north and play in the cold ...

Like all you southern guys say, "It doesn't get cold during football season up there" ...

So whats keeping ya from coming up ?
