I can't wait for the media (espn and company) ... for when they say Ohio State plays Michigan State and think that Ohio State needs to blow them out to make the MNC game, otherwise Auburn will pass them !

Anytime now they will be saying IF that happens that MSU really wasn't any good anyways and take more points away from the Buckeyes ...
Just can't wait !

They keep saying how great FSU has been and that they have played a weak schedule as well, but they give credit to them for running up the score, while not giving same credit to others.

I know, Why am I watching this BSC junk anyways ...

You OSU fans have quite the inferiority complex don't you ?

If yall win, your in.

I agree if OSU wins they are in. They earned it by going undefeated. Despite the fact I do not believe they are better than Alabama or Auburn. If Auburn wanted to be in the MNC they should have beat LSU. Alabama should have beat Auburn..

That being said, FSU is going to do to Ohio St what FLA did in 06.. It is not going to be pretty. The only saving grace for OSU is Meyer beat FSU every year he played against them, of course that was a very different FSU....

If OSU Loses to Mich St, then Auburn will play FSU as long as Auburn can beat Missouri. If Auburn loses well we got ourselves a pickle.

If it is Auburn vs FSU Id still say FSU takes the game, but itll be a close one. I think Alabama was the only team that had a real shot at FSU and that is only because of Nick Saban. Give that man a month to prepare for anyone and his team will be the best in the country.

Maybe ...maybe not ...

In reality, Yes, they should be in.
However, the reason is, they've been looked over before and dropped in the polls for lesser things, like having a bye week.

They started #2 in the Nation and dropped after someone "Looked" better ...

One thing that NO ONE is realizing, they all say they weren't dominating in the first half of the season, well, they have a Defense that is mostly Freshmen and Sophomores.

OSU has never been overlooked when they were only 1 of 2 undefeated teams. You guys win you are in. No chance anything else happens unless you lose. OSU and FSU are in the drivers seat. Unless they lose next week that is our BCS title game. No other way around it. So dont worry ;) Worry about Mich St. Even if you beat them by a safety... You still are in so enjoy your week ;)

Yep, the same people who didn't vote for the only undefeated team last season, the rightful National Champions, because they weren't bowl eligible, and who have completely dismissed the Buckeyes 24-game winning streak. Should OSU win by less than 30-points, these yutzes will say the Buckeyes were overrated; beat them by more than 30-points and the nimrods will say that the Spartans were overrated. You can't argue with this kind of 6th grade (i.e., SEC graduate) logic. I would not be surprised to see Alabama and/or Auburn move ahead of FSU and/or OSU in the polls even when both these undefeated teams win. C'est la vie.

LOL If Ohio St would not of been on probation they would have played and beat Notre Dame last year Alabama would not have jumped an undefeated OSU and sadly not even an undefeated notre dame.. But the fact is Ohio St didnt make the game because of there own doing, not the polls. And this year if they win they are in. Sorry to burst your bubble but this mythical everyone hates any team not from the SEC is just not true.

Personally, I think Ohio State can play with any of them.
If I had to choose a team that I really think they would NOT fare well against, it would be Bama.

With all the talk now of how Auburn should be passing OSU if they win next week ... I'd like to play Auburn.

As the only TRUE Auburn fan here:) AU is a 2 point dog to MIZZOU. Everyone thinking AU will win. I think it's going to be very tough emotionally to get over the bama game in a week to play the Tigers. Would have said the same if bama won. The big plus is they have only one week to try to figure out the zone read option. Good luck with that:) If AU can run like they have the past 6-7 games, I look for a high scoring game. AU should have the home crowd on their side in Hotlanta. War Damn Eagle!!

I admit I have seen very little of OSU this season, only really catching there big games that were in primetime (like v Mich) Which I do not even hold the mich game against them because it being a rivalry and at the big house.

But I have watched a lot of FSU football (which is odd for a fla fan) and that offense is absolutely a work of art to watch. Winston dam well better win the heisman the kid is a pure athlete. Not only is the offense a thing to enjoy but they also (unlike most these high scoreing offenses we see ie: Oregon etc) have a legitimate defense to back up that offense. FSU doesnt havent to score 40+ because there defense holds teams down. They score 40+ it seems just because it is easy for them not out of need.

but but but
most of the talking head DO hate anyone not in the sec.......fact not at all " mythical "
and i will enjoy this week

I dont know do you not see the love Oregon, Stanford, Texas (when they were worth something) Oklahoma (when they were worth something) all seem to get? And the lvoe FSU got for several years now and always falling short. I mean FSU has been talked about as being "back" for the last 5-6 years easy with high rankings to start the year and constantly falling on its face. The samething for Miami. All that love from the talking heads... Its not just SEC teams who get it, its any team with a history. I think the only reason Ohio st may not get as much just like how it died down with Oklahoma is because they just cant seem to win the big one anymore.

Pickle? If Auburn loses then Missouri should play in the BCSCG. They would arguably have a resume as good as, or better, than any other one loss claimant and they would have an extra win as well with the SECCG. The only pickle would be the one shoved up their rear by the BCS if they didn't select them. ;)

if they were forced to play each other in season it would be much more interesting imo

this set up they have now is_____. they keep talking about 64 teams what a joke there are 24 to 32 teams tops. these teams need to dump the ncaa go it alone and put out the best product that's there. let them rest have these dumb bowls and the ncaa. imo they would die off after a decade or two. not a bad thing.

Left USC out, the greatest lovefest ever between media and a team IMO.

fake teams in the top 25
Fresno St
Northern Illinois
Louisville
Duke

3 out of 4 will be beat in their bowl games if they play any other team within 5 spots of them or higher.

I bet if you looked a little closer, you'd find more than that.

The top 25?
Use to be the top 20 and before that .....
Top 10-15 is all that is relevent anyways.
