NCAA 2009-2010 The Bowls

The Big Ten has tripled their bowl win total from last year- 1- to this year's 3.

The Orange Bowl is looking like a game where conference bragging rights are at stake.

An Iowa win gives the Big 10 4 bowl wins and a 2-0 BCS record.

A Georgia Tech win gives the much-maligned ACC consecutive years of BCS bowl wins.

This game is technically called the FedEx Orange Bowl, but you could also call it the "Something has to give" bowl.

How is the new avatar.. Brantley leading us into the future :)

He is certainly not a bad "second choice" In fact hed be a starter on many schools this year.. LSU would of loved to have him :)

It'll be interesting to see how Brantley follows in Tebow's footsteps.

Remember, Texas had to follow the Vincy Young era with some guy named Colt McCoy- he turned out pretty good.

Who knows? Maybe Brantley will join the long lineage of other great Gator signal-callers (Spurrier, Peace, Bell, Grossman, Wuerrfel, Leak)

He is certainly more a tradtional QB, and when he has filled in hes done great. Hes got a great passing game (hopefully florida gets some good receivers to go with it) We still have great RBs coming back this year (I hope they return and dont go pro) so our running game will still be fast. We just need recievers to go with our passing qb.

Oh man this will be painful. An entire year of "See OSU is good we finnaly won a BCS bowl game!!"

To that Ill add, 0-10 vs the SEC =)

Give it a rest. I am tired of you bashing all the time. Once in a while ribbing is fine, but the constant crap has got to stop.

No talk of the BSU-TCU thriller last night? :) I'm not sure if this has been discussed already, but I would have liked to see both of those teams play somebody other than each other.

We watched the whole game, very exciting. The Boise St defense handled TCU's speed very well.

MVP may have been the Boist St punter...yes, the punter. Threw a first down pass on a fake punt with a rusher right in his face, made a TD saving tackle on a punt return, and pinned them inside the ten...all in the second half.

No proposals after the game.

I agree, though, I would liked to have seen the two Cinderellas play two different teams, not each other. Perhaps Georgia Tech-Boise St and Iowa-TCU, something like that.

So would I. It was much more meaningful when Boise St. edged out Oklahoma and Utah crushed Alabama, then to see Boise St. beat TCU.

I was joking with the osu fans. They certainly took it that way with their responses

Some people just look for reasons to be offended...

There was a make-out session shared by a Boise State Bronco and a Cheerleader though....
