NBA Basketball 2009-10 Season

Here is the update on the Miami side:

- The Cavs are offering the better deal because the HEAT do NOT wanna give up either of their TWO 1st round draft picks and Michael Beasley....

...The SUNS want either BOTH #1 AND they will take back O'Neal....OR BOTH #1s AND Adonis Haslem...OR A #1, Haslem AND O'Neal.

....YEP, consider this deal DOA!

Hmmm. Interesting. Here I am the one getting nervous that the chances of landing Stoudemire have gone out the window. Perhaps Cleveland DOES have the better deal, but Phoenix is just holding out to see if they get better offers.

Damn this next 24 hours is going to get tense!

Miami has and can offer more than anyone else because of Beasley and having 2 #1s. But you would be a moron to give up EITHER 2 #1s or a guy that can be franchise player AND a #1 for someone OTHER than Kobe, Lebron, Durrant or Wade.

Cavs in 3-way trade for Jamison!

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cavaliers have agreed in principle to trade for Washington Wizards forward Antawn Jamison, sources said Wednesday night.

They are believed to be sending Zydrunas Ilgauskas and a draft pick to the Wizards as part of the trade. However, there are more moving parts.

The Los Angeles Clippers are believed to be involved in the deal. Washington Post, which first reported the trade, reported that it is a three-team deal that would also involve Wizards forward Drew Gooden.

Cavs forward Jamario Moon has reportedly also been involved in the talks.

Beat me to it! :)

I just heard Jim Donovan report the same thing. Z and our #1 for Jamison and Sebastian Telfair. I hope it's true! I like Jamison for the Cavs more than Amare and we could use a backup PG.

Cavs trade: more info. deal still not finalized, but agreed in principal....

Cavs will receive Jamison and PG Sebastian Telfair from Clippers in the deal. They send out Z & first rounder.

This is a dream deal! I said all along Jamison would be the better fit. He's more of a team guy and plays better D than Amare.

Plus, we didn't have to give up JJ Hickson!

Now, I hope Big Z's contract can get bought out and we can get him back in 30 days. I can't envision seeing him in another uniform.

The Cavs get the man they wanted.

I honestly felt this was going to happen.

(One other thing- Big Z will definitely be missed by Cavs fans.)

You're absolutely right. I am very sad to see Big Z go. He's been through so much with this organization and has been here his entire career. I really hope we'll be able to get him back. It would kill me to see this team have success without Z on the team. :(

Assuming we get Big Z back after the buyout, Danny Ferry may have just pulled off the BIGGEST steal of the century! Antawn freaking Jamison for a measly draft pick!

OMG!@party

Welcome to Cleveland Mr. Jamison! See you Thursday my friend!

HD at a Cavs game- that's a good sign for the team

Earlier today, HD MM said he will be at tomorrow night's Nuggets-Cavs game (which just got a lot more interesting with Cleveland acquiring Antawn Jamison).

Considering his recent track record when it comes to games he has attended, that has to be a good sign.

Last year, he went to 3 games- the 98-83 beatdown of the Celtics, the 105-85 playoff drubbing of the Atlanta, and LeBron's epic buzzer beater.

Those are the ones I know of- I'm sure he's been to many, many others- but looking at the recent trend, that HAS to be a good omen.

You have a good memory my friend.

That buzzer beater by LeBron in last year's ECF was probably the greatest live moment I've ever been a part of in Cleveland sports history. (and I went to the '07 Bug Game between the Tribe & Yanks).

If only Cleveland went on to win that series, that shot would've gone down in the history books. Since we didn't though, the shot may lose a little luster over time, but at that very moment, it was very special.

Gasol for Gasol/Kwame/1st rounder is a bigger steal just because Kwame was in it :p

I love that it's Danny Ferry pulling the trigger on these deals. Finally putting that dook education to good use. :D
