The Celtics got outplayed in the second half for the umpteenth time this year. Ray Allen was out, but so was Chris Paul. They shoot free throws like a team of Greg Kites. I remember Danny Ainge once saying that one of the most amazing things he ever saw in a basketball game was when Greg Kite took two free throws, and one was an airball short and the other hit half way up the backboard. He said he just couldn't see how a professional athlete throwing a basketball that distance could have about six feet of difference between his two attempts.
Kevin Garnett has not had a good game since he returned.
The NBA trade deadline is just a week away. Circle February 18th on your calenders. Things could get mighty interesting during the All-Star break.....
There is NO DOUBT there are gonna be alot of people moving ...trying to line their ducks up for the 2010-2011 season.
I bet the Celtics will be in on a few of those trades. No way they are comfortable with the way they are now with just under 2 months remaining in the season. Look for them to shake things up too.
There is more than 2 months left isn't there?
I think Lebron James just won the MVP award last night. There is no way Cleveland goes into Utah and beats a habanero hot Utah Jazz team, on their home court, without Lebron.
But the Lakers did it last night without Kobe.

Good point. Another testament to how valuable he is to this team is that we have remained undefeated with two of our starters being sidelined with injury (Mo Williams and Delonte West). Some, even consider those two to be the 2nd and 3rd best on our team!
I'm not so sure the Lakers would be able to go on a 12 game win streak if they were without Gasol and Odom.
Last Thursday on TNT, Charles Barkley said that if LeBron had a Pao Gasol caliber player on his team, that team might go 82-0!
When will the Nets win again? What will it take?
They had their best player back in the lineup Wednesday night, as Devin Harris returned from a two-game absence because of a sprained left shoulder. They had the visiting Milwaukee Bucks, playing on the second night of a back-to-back on the eve of the All-Star break.
And they got off to a fast start, scoring 10 of the game’s first 12 points.
And they lost again. (97-77, at the Izod Center)
The good news is that only 1,016 hardy fans witnessed the shellacking in person.
