NBA Basketball 2009-10 Season

James leads Cavaliers to 12th straight win - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

They beat the Nets by 7. Before that, they beat them by 8.

THEY'RE GETTING CLOSER! :D:D:D

(In all seriousness, about that game- LeBron Rules. The End.)

I watched the game and it looked like the team just hit cruise control. They knew who there opponent was and did just enough to get the win. Expect a better contest on Thursday.

The Cavs will go for #13 on Thursday night on TNT against the Orlando Magic... then off for 6 days for the All-Star break!

I can't wait for Thursday night! I still can't believe how well the team has been playing without West and Williams.

Me neither.

I am also super pumped in how Orlando traded away their biggest Cavalier killer in Turkaglu and their budding star in Courtney Lee. Thank you Orlando! I don't have nearly the anxiety I used to about facing this team!

I agree!! I think the Magic are really going to regret the moves they made this past off season.

How amazing is it that history repeated itself in Portland. Around 20 years after the Blazers passed on Michael Jordan for a Sam Bowie who was always injured, they pass on Kevin Durant for another big man...Greg Oden, who is always injured.

Simply bizarre.

He may have that claim by the end of THIS year.

You ain't kidding. The was quite a debate here the other day when a local talk radio host...Dan LeBetard had Miami a buzz and pissed when he said that at this point, Durrant is BETTER than Wade...skills wise....and right up there with Kobe AND Lebron. And it was not because Wade or any of those other guys have regressed....just the sudden progression of Durrant....and he JUST turned 21!!

And the Mighty OKC Thunder finish the 1st half with a 6-game win streak, 9 games over .500!

It's amazing how far this team has come.

A year ago, they got off to a frighteningly bad start (though not as bad as this year's Nets) and through Christmas 2009, looked like they had a shot to finish with the worst record in NBA history.

The Celtics got outplayed in the second half for the umpteenth time this year. Ray Allen was out, but so was Chris Paul. They shoot free throws like a team of Greg Kites. I remember Danny Ainge once saying that one of the most amazing things he ever saw in a basketball game was when Greg Kite took two free throws, and one was an airball short and the other hit half way up the backboard. He said he just couldn't see how a professional athlete throwing a basketball that distance could have about six feet of difference between his two attempts.

Kevin Garnett has not had a good game since he returned.
