NBA Basketball 2009-10 Season

I wonder who he's talking about. Most of the guys on Boston seem like team-first guys...Could 'Sheed be causing problems?

Either way, I'm sure a winning streak will improve their chemistry tenfold.

I was wondering the same thing.

But your right, in the end, winning cures all woes. Right now, it just seems as if the Boston core is suffering through nagging injuries. Then again, so is every other team out there, including the Cavs and look at us! :)

Rondo's statement surprised me. It is possible that because of his inexperience at being interviewed, he initially did a poor job of giving a meaningless andswer to a meaningless question, and made it worse by staying with it. On the other hand, there are two player/team conflicts that they might have:

- Tony Allen's career still hasn't been launched, and I think he is a free agent at the end of this year. Based on his limited, cumulative career performance to date, he will have trouble getting the kind of money that he is probably worth. A couple years ago, he filled in for Pierce for nine games, scored 20 in eight of them, and hit 50% from the field in every one, but then wrecked his knee on that hot-dog dunk after a play was blown dead. But while he has every reason to grouse, you don't see him gunning or showboating when he does play, so I can't imagine that he has pissed off any of his team-mates. When Marquis Daniels returns, possibly on February 10th, Allen's minutes will go caput unless Pierce's injury lingers. Daniels was the seventh man before he got injured, and the teqam was pleased with his play.

- Rasheed is still hoisting threes, but he isn't making threes. He might be getting an earful from House, Ray Allen and Pierce on this subject.

HA!! I have said that from day one.....when you are winning...there are no "chemistry" issues.

Ok, so what comes first: the chicken or the egg? Ie: Chemistry or winning?

Does it take chemistry to get to the point you can win or does it take winning to solidify chemistry? THAT is the 10 million dollar question.

4 teams get the national basketball spotlight tonight. Both are on TNT:

Miami @ Cleveland- 8pm
San Antonio @ Portland- 10:30pm

Buckle up boys and girls. Tonight is LeBron v. Dwayne Part Deux!!!!

Wow, Miami goes from a game in Boston to a game the following night in Cleveland. Tough schedule.

Talent does not care about chemistry...ESPECIALLY at the NBA level. Talent with coaches and players win....and chemistry only comes into play whe you lose. The has been proven time and time and time again.

Regarding the Celtic's prospects, Charles Barkley said tonight that they are planning on getting healthy, but old people don't get healthy. They die.

The Celtics expect to get Daniels back next Wednesday, and Pierce back a week later, but four of their first six players will still be 32 years old or older, and one or more of them will likely be injured again before the season is over. Last week, Rashard Lewis went around Kevin Garnett like he wasn't there to score the winning basket. I remember that more and more people went around Akeem in the last few years of his career. Garnett has just passed Bill Russell in total minutes played. That is a lot of milage.

The Celtics HAVE to get younger next year to have one more run during the Pierce/Garnett era, meaning no Ray Allen and no Rasheed Wallace next year. It might be possible to trade Ray Allen this year for a younger, if slightly less explosive, player from a team that wants to bid big for free agents in the upcoming offseason, because his big contract will come off its books.

10 straight for the men of Cleveland.

Now, we're starting to see why this team was hailed as a title favorite.

These are the real Cavs- not the ones that started 0-2.

Watching players step up for West and Williams and the Cavs not losing a beat has been awesome!

Last night was just ugly. ALOT of open shots and ALOT of misses. It's just WADE and BEASLEY...and that is it. The HEAT also have a VERY weak bench....which equals to a .500 team and a 7th or 8th seed at best.:(

There IS some heavy rumors of a VERY possible Amaire trade in the works. I have been told that Miami sent their two most seasoned scouts to follow the SUNS for the next week. The HEAT do NOT play the SUNS anymore this year....

...you do the math....;)

Even so, if your Heat gets right, they can be a very dangerous #7 seed.
