Arenas, Crittenton suspended for remainder of season

The odd thing about the announcement of Gilbert Arenas' season-ending suspension was the claim that he asked for it. Literally....

According to reports, Arenas told David Stern during their meeting on Wednesday that he expected a season-long suspension, that he would accept it, and that he would instruct the player's association not to fight it. That's awfully generous, isn't it?

They were just saying on Boston sports radio that "The Rivalry" isn't getting the hype it usually gets. It's probably because of the Celtics recent struggles.

Usually when the Lakers come to town, it's similar to when the Yankees come to town........................not this year............

What a BS call on Pierce at the end of the game, was there a little contact from Pierce yeah but not enough to warrant a foul in that situation, absolutly NOT, freaking Artest stumbled over his feet.

Face it, you're team is getting old. Losing FOUR to Atlanta and coming up short against L.A.? You ol' timers can't get it up for the big boys any more, eh?

Not to boast or anything, but last night, I witnessed probably the most dominant quarters of basketball ever....

In the first quarter of the Cavs/Clippers game, the Cavs had 46 pts and were 11 for 13 from 3 point land (tying an NBA record).... all in the first quarter!! All of this with 2 starters on the bench (Mo & Delonte) and with Leon Powe still rehabbing.

While the Lakers/Celtics stole some of the spotlight yesterday, the Cavs silently won their 8th straight. The scary part... this team hasn't even hit their peak yet. Better basketball is still achievable. Buckle up boys and girls. The second half is going to be a fun one indeed! Weeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
