MLB 2013 Season

People often do wait for the truth to be posted. :)

Verlander is not even the best on the Tigers anymore. There always comes a time when someone else takes over the reins.

Temporarily ...

I'm REALLY hoping the Dodgers make the WS ...

A Verlander vs Kershaw matchup would be delightful.

Good thing they don't put Scherzer in there against Kershaw though.

It was said in tongue and cheek, hence the smiley.

To answer your question. Greinke is already one of there three aces and is currently pitching in the #1 spot in the rotation. Depending on how the playoffs are set up, he could even get the opening start as well.

I can guarantee if the Tigers happen to sign Kershaw, he will take the #1 spot from Verlander.

Don't worry, Kershaw isn't going anywhere .... he'll be in Dodger Blue for a long time.

Ok, so the Dodgers have 3 Aces...

The Tigers have 3 Aces as well.

Verlander, Scherzer and Sanchez, all 3 would be a # 1 on 30 other teams.

While Verlander is struggling this year, he's still got 12 wins. and hopefully he's got it figured out, he pitched very well after the 1st inning yesterday ... even though he struggled in the 1st, he didn't give up any runs.

When Kershaw has shown excellence in 5-6 ,years, let me know.

While Verlander pitched very well last time out, he needs to continue it, hopefully he's coming around, he's looked like the Old Verlander before this year and has slipped the next time out, so well see ... I' would like to see 3-4 very good outings in a row before I feel confident that he's back.

Okay, before I respond to this, I want to make sure that I'm not misunderstanding something in the translation (I REALLY HATE when that happens ;)). Are you REALLY saying that the best 6 starters in ALL of baseball are (in no particular order) Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer, Anibal Sanchez, Clayton Kershaw, Zach Greinke and Hyun-Jin Ryu??!! Well if that's the case, I think we should petition MLB to cancel the rest of the regular season and playoffs and go straight to the World Series- Dodgers vs. Tigers!

Oh okay, my bad. :)

Yesterday the Reds smacked Wainright around yet again. They scored 6 more off him for a total of 15 runs in 2 games. They raised his era almost half a point last game and about .75 for both games.

so when Pittsburgh gets to 82 wins (thus having their first winning season in 20 years)....will the city riot then ;)

College Park, Maryland rioted when their team won a semi-final game, forcing the city to hastily rebuild downtown in time for the traditional, post-finals riot that would occur two days later.
